Airbourne - as a resident, it is one of the defining moments of summer in the town. I know it’s not particularly ‘green’ but heritage is something we must salute and remember. I’d imagine it takes a fair amount of energy to build a new plane today, so making use of the old ones, and celebrating the current ones is far greener than showing new boats on the water every season… it’s something I’m happy to live with. I have a son and daughter in their twenties, he wasn’t able to make it this year and has regretted it, my daughter and her boyfriend attended two of the days and enjoyed it immensely! They used to watch as children and loved it (although the Harrier was a tad too scary for them when it dipped it’s nose to them on the beach, and yes, we miss the Harrier and Vulcan). It really is a big part of Eastbourne and, in my view, should remain. Even in these trying times…
A perfect service and a great driver, thank you, and Haulaway will be our first port of call in the future.
