Had not been there since the restaurant changed hands. Every bit as good as before, with friendly and attentive staff; good food at a reasonable price. Thankyou

Food was absolutely fabulous. We all had something different and all four of us were impressed.
Staff were friendly and helpful and the new decor is clean and relaxing.
Such a lovely evening out.
Highly recommended

Had a super lunch here - our first after lockdown restrictions lifted. Felt like a weight had been taken off our shoulders - some semblance of "normal". Ate outside in the sunshine overlooking the marina. Food excellent - as usual. Booked for dinner next week!

I had Sunday lunch here, only their second day back after 3 months closed. Sunday was a beautiful sunny day and I eat on the terrace in a lovely atmosphere where everyone customers and staff alike were just pleased to be there.
The setting is perfect, if you’ve never been you have to come and see this setting. I ordered a traditional Sunday roast, roast beef and veg. It was superb, cooked to perfection and delicious, enough for the biggest of eaters.Excellent friendly service as always. Well done Saltwater!

My husband and I made a last minute decision to try this new restaurant and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We live nearby so were able to walk, and therefore have a G&T from their large selection as well as a few glasses of wine from the great range on their wine list. The food was delicious and service was friendly. We will definitely be back!

With the current situation and me having a cough we decided that despite wanting to go we just shouldnt. I called and asked if it was ok to collect our ordered Fruit De Mer as a take out. No Problem. We really wanted to support this local business, and support the fishermen, so the Fruits de Mer was the obvious choice. WOW. Amazing fresh local crab and lobster, oysters, moules and crevettes . They even boxed up our side order of fries fresh cooked, and gave me a bottle with our complementary glass of wine. It was all lovely, fresh, and tasty. Just do it and support local business. There were four tables occupied in the restaurant when I went to collect, all well apart, and all four looked very happy with lovely food

Dined at the Beaucette Marina Restaurant most days during our weeks Christmas break on Guernsey. The quality of food is outstanding, great choice, imaginative menus. The fish was amazing. Lovely restaurant with great views and very friendly staff. Wonderful to have live music.

Just got back from a delicious, very reasonably priced, Christmas lunch with probably the best Christmas pud I have ever had. Lovely setting and even in the rain the view is still one of the best in Guernsey. Lovely staff, very attentive.

Lovely lunch today at Saltwater. We chose off the £20 Festive menu and the food and service were excellent. Confit of duck to start followed by fillet of sea bass. Love the interesting and clever presentation.
Highly recommend!

We always enjoyed this restaurant when it was run as Beaucette Marina restaurant. Now Saltwater we think it is excellent inside and outside although obviously outside is not an option at this time of the year. We have eaten here a number of times since it changed hands and it is excellent. Today my wife enjoyed the mussels very much and my lamb hotpot was very good. Lovely Relaxed atmosphere , new furniture and always friendly very helpful staff. I often just go for a few beers and love it. Really lovely and highly recommended.

Went with a party of friends and it was a great night from start to finish. Most of us chose from the Menu du Jour, which was 3 courses for £20, but those on the A la carte were impressed too. The food was excellent, well-prepared and presented. There was good choice of wine to go with it, and the ladies were very pleased with the G and Tea cocktails. the staff were lovely. They were all efficient, but also found the time to have a friendly chat. We are already talking about going back soon!

Restaurant has changed ownership since August when we ate there last
We had a charming and very attentive head waiter called Alex who served us.He was excellent with his service and knowledge, so refreshing to have someone who serves you with charm and knowledge all the rest of the staff were friendly could find no fault with service.
Food was fabulous and excellent value, we did have tenner fest menu which is different at this time of year. Standard of food was excellentI would recommend this Restaurant to everyone I know on the Island and have already done so.
Will be back next time were over in the Spring.

We decided to try Saltwater as neither my wife or I had been before, and the Tennerfest season was upon us. (I had only been many years ago, when it was the Beaucette Marina restaurant, and hadn’t even realised about the changeover).
We were politely met by a pleasant member of staff who kindly took our coats from us.The lighting in the restaurant was perfect - not too dark or light - and we were seated at the window, which although dark by that time, was actually and rather luckily for us, the exact location we would have selected personally.
Then we noticed the colour scheme and extremely cool, yet still very comfortable/functional chairs we were in. Which are also pretty much silent when moving the chair legs on the wooden floor - another plus for us!The level of noise and atmosphere in the restaurant was spot-on. Not too loud, but not dead either.
We both went for a starter of Parsnip/Vanilla soup with house-baked curried bread, which was fantastic. Followed by their mains of gnocchi and the beef, which were both great and also very well presented. A large glass each of Sauvignon and Malbec perfectly accompanied the food. I was reminding myself that this was ONLY the Tennerfest menu, as the quality of everything was so good. Desserts of passion fruit cheesecake and sticky toffee pudding certainly didn’t let the side down, and the portion sizes for each course were generous and just right for each respective dish.
Talking of dishes - nice rustic/modern crockery and my wife already googled the brand of cutlery :)
The levels of service, politeness, professionalism and friendliness from all staff we encountered, were 10/10. It all felt extremely genuine. Special mention to Alex, who we had a brief chat with and who made us feel very relaxed and welcome.
Also, the time between courses was perfect for us - no hurrying, whilst also not being left alone for too long. Very hard to get right IMO.
Congrats to all concerned, you should be very proud.
As my wife said to me when we left.....that place is a real hidden gem!
:)

I’ve been here over the last few months many times so this isn’t about one evening. The food is consistently superb, with a constantly changing menu. The venue is beautiful. The front of house staff really make it into a great experience, friendly and create a great atmosphere.
This is a great place to go for an evening out.

We hadn't planned to eat here, but our first choice didn't open on the day we wanted to eat, but having seen the reviews we decided to try it. Will definitely visit again and try the a la carte menu. The tenerfest menu was excellent can highly recommend the crispy squid!!
My only complaint was the quietness but the staff informed me that later in the week it was busier and the atmosphere improves.

Really good food, execution of dishes and friendly service. Not too little, not too much and all elements were delicious in their own right. Usually the Tennerfest menus in Guernsey can be a bit samey and I go for the a la carte, but not in this case. Baby squid, belly pork (side order of chunky chips recommended) plus pavlova were all spot-on. Impressed by the funky butter selection with the bread; including seaweed and cherry tomato. Will definitely be coming back. Proprietor Jenny Meeks is a highly experienced and effective front of house and ensures attention to detail in all aspects.

We had a wonderful dinner thanks to our waiter Alex and his girlfriend (whose name escapes me at the moment). They took the time to answer all our questions about the menu. Both of them were personable and attentive. The ambience of the restaurant was lovely - quiet and classy. Food was beautifully presented and delicious.

This restaurant is attached to a marina. It is light and airy and attractively decorated, and the service personal are efficient. We both started with baby squid with a sweet dressing and fresh salad, followed by salmon with ras el hanout and pomegranate. The dishes were nicely presented and imaginative, and we enjoyed them. Prices were very reasonable.

We would def go back and advise anyone going to Guernsey to eat there. Not the easiest place to find but once you have it's worth it. The view across the bay?marina is great. The food was perfect and staff were very accommodating with the menu. Very reasonably priced menu with plenty of choice. Gets busy so book as very popular with locals from the small marina.
