It’s given me some good info and I’ve got a list of actions that I’ll be taking shortly to make better use of social media rather than just churning out posts or falling into the trap (which I’m already in) of focusing on the social media that I personally use.

I really enjoyed the Get Connected with Social Media Seminar I attended yesterday, I definitely learnt some new valuable tips for helping with future Sarnia Mutual Facebook posts. Nicole and Rick are a credit to Guernsey they are always so friendly and helpful :) I look forward to the next Seminar.

Having only recently joined the Best of Guernsey, we are delighted with what we’ve seen so far, with excellent social media coverage following the initial photoshoot and then a really enjoyable and well organised event for the Best of annual awards dinner, which doubled as a staff social for us. The sense of community and networking opportunities are what we hope to develop further in the coming months, but we are already pleased with our decision to join and would highly recommend Rick and the Best of to any other local businesses, as their pro active support has been great. We are looking forward to getting a few more reviews in and hopefully to being able to collect some awards of our own at next year’s awards dinner!

My biggest regret is not joining up to thebestofguernsey sooner! Working with such a great team in terms of efficiency and engagement has not only been inspirational, but has also been fantastic in positively supporting our business and making people aware of our products, services and customer service credentials. Since joining up with Kate at thebestofguernsey, my business has gone from strength to strength. You get out what you put in with this amazing marketing tool and having won the coveted title of "most loved business in Guernsey 2014", we simply could not of done this without our amazing customers and Kates highly valued input. She really does know her stuff and once you are part of the group she will help, advise and steer your business in the right direction. If you business is in the dull-drums or you want to generate more sales i would highly recommend that you speak with these guys and get listed asap. The only down side for me is it been so successful i am now working 16-18 hours a day and i seem to have more grey hairs !! Can't complain though.must dash, it's 01:50am and still loads to do !

I so wish I had joined thebestofGuernsey a long time ago! My bookings have increased significantly since joining.
