thebestof Guernsey has continued to evolve and I hadn't realised the full scope of what you now offer members. I am keen to remain a member and use local businesses where we can. I intend to make more use of your new facilities and was very interested in the idea of linking up with other businesses to do joint promotions. I can also see that we can support our clients by actively liking and commenting on their Facebook pages and will look into that. (Following attendance at 'Getting thebestof Your Membership session).

I was extremely surprised and happy when I received an email advising that I had won the monthly competition of £50 worth of fuel from Forest Road Garage. With the price of fuel these days this has given me weeks of free motoring. Thank you Dale this was very much appreciated. But this is not the only reason why thebestofguernsey is an excellent site to have in your favourites folder. A short while ago I sent Nicole details of a hog roast that the Guernsey Race Club was organising and expected a “cut & paste” of the details I sent to appear on the website; but to my amazement there appeared a full page advert with maps, pictures, full details of the event and directions all in magnificent colour - a true work of art. There is also a 3rd reason why I support thebestofguernsey, it was while viewing the site that I came across an advertiser that resulted in me buying my latest car. Thank you again, thebestofguernsey has my full backing and I know it will go from strength to strength.

Really enjoyed my evening with the Best of Guernsey crew at the Farmhouse last night. We were there for the launch of their new website - Sept 2012 (just look how good it is !!!) . It's a big big improvement on the old site.
I've been a member for almost a year now and Kate and Nicole have totally transformed my business ! Fact !
With their help Bluchip Vehicle Imports won "The Best, most Loved Car Dealer in the British Isles" award. That award has help us meet so many great new customers it's unreal. We never in a million years thought we'd win that title, but i guess if you are doing something right, your loyal customers will support you.
Since winning, the phone hasn't stopped ringing ! It was a humbling experience reading all 250 of the positive testimonials we received. It really makes all the hard work (up to 20 hours a day !) worthwhile. So if you are a Bluchip customer - a very big thank you for supporting us since 1999.
If your business is a bit down in the dull-drums but you firmly believe you have a great product or service i would 100% recommend you speak with Kate and Nicole as i did, to help you promote your business. They will help you kick start your business in ways you never though possible !
I went into all this with an open mind, and i guess if i'm honest i thought it wouldn't help that much, but how wrong could i have been. Life is full of ups and downs but whenever i see an opportunity i grab it with both hands.

Being part of The Best of Guernsey has seen two great benefits for Sueco Outside Catering. Firstly we were nominated and went on to win The Most Loved Business in Guernsey 2010 in the 14 Days of Love campaign. You can imagine what that did for staff morale. Secondly their 'Back of a Bus' promotion. When both of these are running we definitely see a spike in the amount of internet traffic coming from The Best of Guernsey to Sueco Outside Catering and about 82% of that traffic ends up in bookings so we are really pleased. I recognised the benefits of putting my beauty salon on The Best of Guernsey and I regularly get new clients from them. I found they help promote my business through their social media marketing (Facebook / Twitter) and they also send out newsletters with special offers to all their members so it gets my business word out to a wider market. They also printed for me wonderful recommendation cards with my business logo on, which is great.
