Stuart and Tong are such lovely friendly people you often forget that you are in a restaurant with other diners because you are made to feel like thier exclusive dinner guests. The food is as close to traditional Thai food as you can get with the import limitations imposed by living on an island, which is no suprise as Tong has designed (and frequently cooks) the menu herself. Located in the quaint Old Quarter of town, the restaurant itself is cosy, seating maybe 30 people maximum so best to book early to avoid disappointment but if you can't get a table, improvise with a Baan Thai take out and a nice bottle of wine at home - sorted! My partner and I are both foodies so we tend to eat out quite a lot and the biggest accolade that I can give to the Baan Thai is simply that we keep going back there time and time again. Keep up the good work guys and look forward to seeing you again VERY soon. Mark & Dani
