Recently, I could not get a local electrician to even reply to my requests to look at a defective light fitting at home. I decided to look through the Best of Harlow web site, of which we are members and see if there was someone nearby who may be able to assist. I came across, Stortford Electrical Services and passed their number to my husband, who phoned them, he immediately got to speak to someone (a refreshing change from an answer machine) and the electrician arranged to visit our home 2 days later. He arrived on time, soon diagnosed the problem and successfully repaired the fitting, instead of the now common practise of just replacing things! The guys completed a series of jobs to a very high standard that included electrics, coving, plastering in my lounge. They also repaired some damage to my kitchen ceiling caused by a bathroom flood.
