Myself, Partner and kids went here the weekend just gone and what a lovely place for a day out. The animals are amazing and you get to be so close to them its insane. They are doing up the park on some areas but does not ruin the day at all. There is loads of stuff for the kids to do. Parks inside and out and also crazy golf. Will 100% be going back but the added bonus of our day was getting to see the baby jaguar so cute. With lunch you can get loads there but we took a picnic as just easier and loads of place to sit to enjoy this.

Recently enjoyed the breakfast with the big cats experience. This was a truly brilliant experience. We were guided around all the cats and given talks about the lives and where they have come from. The continental breakfast was as it should and the staff are brilliant. Thank you to Miles and Vickie for a great morning. 😁😁😁😁

With the variety of play parks and kids activities they would have stayed all day. Oh yeah, and then there is the zoo bit...

I was taken there for my 30th birthday where I enjoyed the tickle a tapir experience. It was amazing and something I'll never forget. The tapir did start eating my hair at one point but it all added to the fun! I was quickly rescued and the tapir offered something a bit tastier. Lovely small zoo with well cared for animals!

I thought it was excellent value for money, compared to Colchester Zoo and other similar establishments. I went with my two daughters aged 16 and 20. The place is clean and smart and most of the animals were clearly visible behind low-level glass so children and wheelchair users could view comfortably. The animals seem to be looked after very well. Staff were informative and there was plenty of benches to sit on and places to eat. I should imagine smaller children would love this place as there was an open pool for them to use as well as many play areas.

I brought my 2 year old nephew here recently and he had a great time. It is a little pricey but that's to be expected at animal attractions with all the mouths to feed!

The park was well kept and very tidy and the little train ride through the forest was a big hit for a little one who loves trains.

It wasn't overly busy on our visit so there were plenty of places to get food and soft play areas which were not over crowded for my nephew to play, where I could still keep an eye on him.

The staff we spoke to were friendly and the animals all looked to be happy and well care for.

I will definitely be going back but make sure you are not looking for a cheap day out, especially if you have young children who will want to have a go on everything, get their face painted and buy everything in the shop.

Although we didn't go to any there are reptile encounters and flying displays as well as set times throughout the day where you can watch the animals being fed too.

It's easy to make a visit last all day.

I visited Paradise Wildlife park last year with my boyfriend. This is probably a pointless review for me to write as, I'm not entirely keen on zoos, so this one didn't really do much for me. Seeing the animals is amazing for kids, but it's not a place they should be - small enclosures and looking extremely fed up. The parking charge and food/drink is extremely poor. (£2.50 for a bottle of water)

13 of us visited recently, mainly children, the eldest being 9. We had a good enough day out, the children enjoyed themselves. It was pricey to get in, but most zoos are. There were A LOT of play areas for the children, more than expected in a zoo. There were also a lot of extra things that needed to be paid for, which was highly disappointing, I never understand why places do this, it cost enough to get in already. Some enclosures seemed quite small, especially the white lions which was a shame. It was nice to be able to get close to some animals which you don't usually get like the camels and zebra. Some of the tamarins also liked to grab your finger through the cage. The splash area was good, as was the soft play. Food was ridiculously expensive, which again is usual in these places, but still a shame. Overall a good day out.

We had a family day out, the animals were in very good enclosures, lots to see, well planned, extra activities for young children, play area and paddling pool were nice touches. Would recommend a trip. Only advice would be to watch out for speeding motorists when crossing over from the car park.

I went on my own. The high platform over the big cats is a great idea, the cafe is a must. Recommend down loading the app, helps with finding your way around. Having a mini bus service to pick up from the railway station is fantastic. Great place to take young children, loads for them to do.

Just thought we should say how good my wife and daughters mini Zoo keepers day was today.
From the moment we arrived at reception, we were looked after extremely well.
Lady in reception made us welcome and a nice touch of a cuppa and some biscuits.
Then came the even better bit, Miles arrived and looked after us faultlessly for nearly 3 hours. He was brilliant and a real credit to the place.
They cleaned out the pigs, made and fed the meerkats their food and then took them in to see all the reptiles.
Great few hours which our 7 year old daughter won't forget for a long while.
P.s well done Miles, you went the extra mile, because you like your job. We need a few more of you.

We went here while visiting st albans. This is a great little zoo with some wonderful animals where you can get quite close. We were very disappointed that while trying to listen to the wolf talk zoo staff and contractors were joking and swearing amongst themselves less than 10 metres from the talk. I found this very disrespectful especially when there was school children listening in. It was also disappointing considering staff around the rest of the zoo were so fantastic informative and passionate.
