Had a day out with the other half and we both enjoyed it..clean and tidy.would say take a packed lunch as can get expensive..staff in shop great..went to get a drink at place and the girls behind counter was so slow all standing around waiting for chips instead of serving the next one or asking if anyone wanted drinks..but apart from that it was a good day out x

This was a great experience and day out with my class; although the place is extremely busy, there are still lots to see, do and watch. For example, the bug show, the Bird show etc.

The highlight for me was watching some of the animals being fed and for £1, you can feed the smaller animals yourself and the big ones too (with supervision of course). Hearing the Lion roar was excellent and luckily we managed to capture it. The children loved it.

There is a huge selection of animals and wildlife to see!

We brought our own packed lunches therefore i am unable to comment on the food, however, there are lots of seating dotted around for big groups and there is a cute chicken just roaming around the grounds.

I will be back with my family.

This is a lovely zoo. Lots of animals to see and they have a great soft play too. Recommend as a day out with family/friends. There is also a little park that has a fire engine and train. My 2 year old loves it!

We've visited here lots of time before. It's perfect for little kids as everything is so close to each other there's not too much of walking between the animals.

Having the numerous play areas dotted about is also great for getting rid of any excess energy.

We particularly loved the bird show. Always so informative and the birds are well trained and perform well. We especially love that they fly so close over you and walk around the barriers so you pretty much come face to face with them

Lovely day out for families

We hired Safari Sam's restaurant / hall on a Saturday evening for our Daughters Birthday party, James and staff done a fantastic job, we did not have to lift a finger. Recommend to anyone wanting a party / wedding.
Food 1st class - staff 1st class and cleanliness 1st class.
Thank you for a great evening

I go here a lot with my two sons as we have an annual pass. The have a great range of animals and great platforms to view them on. Whenever we go we always get amazing views of all the animals. There is also a great soft play. Prices of drinks and snacks is really expensive though. There is also a small splash park which my boys really enjoy. I haven't seen any of the shows yet myself but I have heard they are really good.

What an amazing experience. My daughter, who is 15, received this as a gift and had a truly memorable day. Jason, the photographer, was so knowledgeable and patient in sharing that knowledge with the whole group, whatever their level of experience/equipment. Lots of behind the scenes access, so thank you too to the keepers for making the group feel very welcome. My daughter has finished the day with much more photographic knowledge, some amazing images and enthused to carry on and improve.

We visited this week for a Tiger Tea experience and we had a great time. The park is full of child friendly activities and wonderful animals. We wondered the park at leisure in the morning and met up with Miles for our experience in the afternoon. Miles was a wonderful tour guide, knowledgeable about his animals and showing great love & appreciation for them. He guided us through the big cat enclosures with amazing knowledge of every animal answering all questions.
The afternoon tea was nice and it was a great end to our trip. The price was good as it included entrance to the park & our experience. We will be back with our children in the future.

I booked an experience as a surprise birthday gift and We had an excellent day shadowing Steve the monkey keeper at Paradise wildlife park.

Steve was great, had loads of knowledge about the monkeys and seemed to have a very good relationship with them which was great to see. Really enjoyed cleaning out the monkey enclosure, learning about the other monkeys in the park and our
favourite was feeding the red lemurs!

Well worth the money, and if it's going towards the facilities for the animals, then even more worth it!

The park itself had loads of facilities and we made a day of it, going round and seeing all of the different animals. (Including the wolves and woodland trail)
Food was good in the diner and overall really impressed.

Already booked to go back and do another experience.

Would recommend.

I booked this as a birthday present for my boyfriend and we both thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. We arrived in the morning to enjoy the park at our leisure before the experience and loved being able to get so close to the animals, especially the big cats. The guided tour part of the experience was fantastic and Miles was so knowledgeable and friendly and made the whole tour wonderful. The afternoon tea was lovely and being able to sit and enjoy it while sitting next to the tigers was brilliant. I would highly recommend this and would love to do it again.

Came here for Father's day. Was a nice day, building work going on so some things are closed. Little annoyed that everything that kids want to go on have to pay a £. May not sound a lot but once everything adds up you've ended up spending a fortune! Nowhere had slushie machines working apart from one shop! So it meant you had to keep walking back. Nice animals and very clean.!

I have visited Paradise Wildlife Park a few times before but this time was by far my best visit!. New improved facilities including the new Penguin Park, new play facilities (situated near the main cafe). The PWP staff were excellent at the Jungle theatre and Birds of Paradise demonstrations, coping really well in the hot weather!. Our favourite this time was the White Tiger having a lovely splash around and the Splash pool & slide for kids - very welcome in the heat of the afternoon sun. Great value day out.

For her 11th birthday treat, my daughter really wanted to get up close with some animals, specifically snakes and lemurs or monkeys. We live in North Oxfordshire but the 1.5hr journey looked from the website to be worth it as PWP seemed to have some great animal experiences..we were right! The day was amazing, wandering around the zoo for about an hour as a family of four and then the two of us breaking off to do the experience. Our guide/boss for the next two hours was Miles who was brilliant. Engaging, knowledgeable and helpful, Miles took us to the tortoises for cleaning out (where Marion the tortoise kept following us around!) and then on to see the snakes and giant land snails -my daughter was in her element! Miles was always very clear about the health and safety steps with each animal and his steady approach meant everything felt very calm and relaxed when we were with the animals. Next we created and added some enrichment toys for the meerkats and then onto the lemurs. This was such a treat, as Penelope, the ring-tailed lemur with the most attitude, jumped first onto my daughters leg and then onto my arm to get to the precious carrot pieces...amazing experience, made truely memorable by the time and interesting information that Miles shared - I highly recommend the park and the experiences!

I have been meaning to take my little boy (6) here for a while, and eventually we decided to go and to take our friend with us. When we arrived we visited the toilet facilities in the car park and found them to be beautifully clean. This is a big positive for me as I usually struggle using public facilities, and to have disabled toilets which you can enter from both sides is brilliant! We entered the park, with the staff on the entrance extremely pleasant and helpful, and we made our way through the park. The friend that we took with us uses an electric wheelchair, and we were really pleasantly surprised that she could get the wheelchair up onto the high levels to look at the animals from above. This park has been very cleverly well thought out for all visitors, both young and old and able bodied and disabled.
When we visited the toilets, in the park, in the middle of the day, we found them beautifully clean, and being cleaned, by two lovely ladies Hayley and Gaetana. These two ladies took the time to clean the toilets well, and were busy sweeping the floors to make sure that they were cleaned of some animal food which had been split. The ladies were pleasant and were happy to have a quick chat, much like all the staff in the park. We then had lunch in the treetop café and I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food and the price. The animals all look to be in great health and well looked after, and we had a great day. We will be going back to this hidden little gem, and hopefully this time I will be able to shadow a keeper for the day.

I went to Paradise Park on Sunday 4th June, and had a fabulous day with all the
animals. Easy to walk around, and lots to see.
Plenty of areas for the Kids. Several places to get food and drink, and a very good
gift shop. Pretty good for wheelchair users, as there is always a couple of places
around the enclosures that will give them a good view of the animals.
Would highly recommend it to all animal lovers, I had a fantastic day and got some
really nice photos of a lot of the species that they have there

My wife and I visited today for the shadow a keeper experience I had booked for my wife's birthday. I can honestly say this was one of the best experiences we've ever had and we'll. Worth the money that I'd spent. I can't recommend it highly enough!

The day was extremely well organised with all the keepers very prompt to meeting us on their time slots. They were all really friendly and made us feel really welcome, they all seemed to have time for us even though they are extremely busy.

We got to see, feed, fly, touch, hear about so many different animals - we both loved it and didn't want the day to end.

Thanks to everyone at the park for a memorable day.

I had a meet the Meerkats experience bought for me for a landmark birthday. A point to remember is that these vouchers are only valid for 10 months, so don't forget to book a date!
On our arrival it was raining but showing signs of brightening up so we went first to Sam's Place for something to eat and drink before starting. Although the sandwiches were rather pricey they were fresh. The other point about this place is be careful where you sit if it is raining as there were numerous leaks with water coming through.
When we visited there were large areas of the park cordoned off for adding new attractions so the place was not as attractive as it could be. That said, we enjoyed the park and at the appointed time headed for the centre for the briefing about the meeting experience.
I was escorted into the enclosure by the Keeper, Shona, who I could not praise highly enough. The Meerkats are friendly little creatures, highly inquisitive and totally lovable. You are allowed to feed them with a bowl of their food and they do climb on you so don't go dressed in your Sunday best. The visit to them lasts about 30 minutes which makes the fee of almost £100 very pricey. Children over the age of 10 can feed them as long as they are gentle and quiet.
It was a really lovely experience and I would recommend it but bear in mind that tickets for anyone accompanying you have also to be purchased.
All in all, a lovely overall experience. All the animals seem in good health and don't appear stressed.

We went there today. The animals we saw looked healthy and energetic, their enclosures clean and rather ok in size. The food was ok, and affordable, as were the drinks. The people working there were friendly and helpful, the informative talks interesting. The playgrounds were fun and the first aid also worked perfectly (trust the kids getting a graze). And we adored the nesting dove with young in the main dining area,...
But, and it is a very big but, we were incredibly annoyed with the reflecting windows. To be able to see the animals you had to stand against the window panes, as well as using both hands to keep any sun out, before being able to see anything inside. Sometimes you could see through the iron cages or over the wooden paneling, but the reptile house was impossible as there were only windows. My glasses, or my bracelet, banged against the glass, clinging and clanging and I still saw nothing but the bushes behind me... The first three times you really try, the fourth you sigh, the fifth you swear and after the sixth you just give up and wish hell and damnation on the people who keep the glasses so impeccably clean ;)

Visited on a sunny day recently and it was very enjoyable to walk round and see a good variety of animals from big cats to meerkats. It is not a large park so all the different areas can be accessed in a few hours. There is a lovely picnic area if you wish to take your own food. Lots of play areas and equipment for the children and plenty of seating for the not so young! Only negatives were the toilets which weren't brilliant but there was a cleaner visiting regularly. The food outlets were fairly basic but staff very friendly and helpful.
The animals looked healthy and well cared for and the grounds well maintained. Worth a visit, quite expensive but you can use Tesco vouchers.

I had booked to visit here for my wife's birthday as we wanted to try something different for the day.

Tickets were almost £20 per adults but we managed to get a discount for being a teacher. Child prices were just under £10.

Once inside there were a great variety of animals from monkeys to tigers, exotic birds and owls through to zebras and wolves.

This place is really kiddie friendly with viewing windows low enough so they could see and great interactive games around the park.

We also stayed late enough to see the white tiger feeding time and had a talk from a park keeper that had been working here for over twenty years.

Overall this is a great place to visit as an adult alone and with kids!

Highly recommended and would return.

Visited for the first time and had a lovely day. Loads to see and do, lots of play areas and really enjoyed the splash pool.
We were able to see the majority of the animals out and about and interacting with each other. There were keeper talks and theatre shows at certain times throughout the day.
We used Tesco vouchers for entry which was really excellent as I don't think we could justify spending over £50 for 2 adults and 1 child. There are lots of extras that can be paid for once inside (although you don't have to): animal food, Train ride, side stalls, face painting etc. I suppose it costs a fortune to maintain such a place as well as this so they have to make their money some how.
Would certainly recommend a day trip here.

NEVER JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS COVER !!
on arrival I thought, oh no this is very catered for young children, And after a 90 minute drive it was not looking good, As I I was there with my 23 yr old son who loves zoos.
I though oh no don't like the animals being in smaller settings than I'm used to, as we usually visit Colchester zoo, however my first opinion quickly changed, after speaking to a lovely keeper called Aaron who explained to me how the animals especially the big cats are looked after on a more personal level, with a lot of the animals being rescued and hand reared. Was amazed at how hands on the keepers were, and were very willing to talk about what was obviously very close to their hearts.
Aaron also explained how each generations of family had thought where money should be spent, and that the newest generation was doing everything it could to build new enclosures for the animals, as they are looking rather dated in my opinion, so I was really happy to hear this is where they were focusing on now.
We had an excellent day there and spent a fortune in the gift shop, which in my opinion was stocked with very reasonably priced items. No more expensive than what you would pay outside the zoo.
We will definitely be returning, on our way out I spoke to one of the staff to explain to Aaron for me, how much I had enjoyed the zoo and I took back everything I said and thought on arrival.
I was then informed that Aaron was the families new generation and was the owners grandson. Wow not once did he mention that, which just about sums paradise wildlife park up, humbling and amazing.

This park is expanding and is rather nice for a day out with the kids. Brilliant for younger kids especially as they have tons to do! You could spend the whole day there. What I would suggest is taking your own food and drinks as like any park the food can be quite expensive. Loads of room in the two car parks. A bus can take you to the station although I would suggest going to the website for that info. Oh and if you book online you get 10% discount entry fee!

Me and my 6 year old daughter had a great day here today. The weather was sunny and hot and the park was clean, tidy and well looked after. It has a huge collection of animals and lots of play areas, and places to have your own food and picnic. As the weather was so hot we used the paddling pool and it was great!

Considering the park is quite small (compared to bigger zoos) it's very entertaining and has lots to do.
