Me and my friend took our children here for Halloween 2 years ago. we had a fantastic day and saw beautiful animals. Staff were friendly and gave us a map to help us get around the park. Lovely picnic area very clean we all enjoyed our day. To get a discount book online.

This is such an unknown Zoo but such a great one. More than fills a whole day and has so many animals to see throughout the visit. Luckily this is just 5 minutes away from where we live so we are lucky enough to be able to visit often.

We had a wonderful day at the park. We took our grandchildren, 14 months and 6 months and son and daughter in law. So well geared up for young children - the play areas, train, and petting zoo were wonderful but my husband feeding the Big Cats, he chose the tigers, was truly awesome. Steve who was his keeper, was incredibly knowledgeable and patient. All the staff were very friendly and the animals looked well cared for. An amazing small zoo where you can see the animals so well. Office staff also excelled themselves from my point of view as I messed up my tickets and they went well out of their way to sort everything out for me. Hugely recommended. We will be going back.

Lots to do for the whole family. Enough entertainment for the children and plenty of restrooms and food outlets at a reasonable price.

Quite a big park with a good variety of animals and sections for all to see. Been here a few times and always had a great day out. Staff are helpful and friendly and never had a bad experience. Tickets are a bit pricey but its worth it for what you get.

First of all I thought that £68 for 3 adults and a child was quite a lot but looking back over the day for 5 hours of fun and education it's very good value .Its a very relaxed place plenty of food places face painting ,slides, bouncy castle little assault course . You can feed the animals up close without being in danger. The animals are in lovely condition and my grand kids loved it all even the cuddly toys they squeezed out of us . i highly recommend this place everyone was helpful and professional see you soon

We arrived about 3 hours early to have a look round and take photos before doing the Big Cat Feeding experience. We were a little daunted at first as the place seemed to be overly geared towards children. But on crossing into the wildlife park we were amazed at what we saw. You are able to get up quite close to the animals which all look healthy and well cared for. We chose to feed the White Lions and Moto the male came over for his snack. What an amazing experience, we hand fed a lion omg! Georgia was very friendly and knowledge. We were glad we went earlier to look around as the experience didn't last as long as we thought it was going to.

I been before and it good for kids. With softplay and animals what's not to like. This time many of the animals were not on show. So lots of empty cages. Softplay in the café is good. And the outdoors activities are great, swings, climbing frames and nets. Dinosaur park is very disappointing, better off going to the A1 golf driving range for that one. Food in restaurant is very very expensive. But plus side park is very clean and layout is ok. So if the sun's out they it should be a great day out.

We visited on a wet march afternoon. The park was very quiet as a result which meant we had plenty of space to explore. There were a lot of building works ongoing but I guess that's due to the time of year.

There is plenty of space for picnics and the cafe was reasonably priced.

There is an excellent series of play areas for the kids but I started to feel like the place couldn't decide if it was a theme park, a play area or a zoo. Despite that there are some great animals to see - my kids loved the tigers.

Finally it's worth shopping around for tickets. We managed to save 30% by doing so...

I spent 5 hours learning about looking after and feeding and food preparation and cleaning out Tigers, Lions etc. outside compounds and indoor bedding areas. Guided and instructed by Ian, he was very informed on all the Animals and it showed he really cared about the welfare of all the animals there. I got to prep food for the Tigers, Lions etc. and went around and fed the animals. Never been so close to them before but everything is done with Health and Safety and care of the animals. After my 5 hours of caring for the animals I went off on my own for a tour around all the Wildlife Park.

Since seeing a Tapir on TV a few years ago, I have always wanted to actually see one up close and found this Hands on Experience day with Paradise Wildlife Park where we were promised 30 minutes personal introduction to the Park's tapirs and a chance to actually stroke and tickle the animals. The event was everything I had hoped it would be. After the usual health and safety talk, we moved over to the Tapir enclosure and were immediately introduced to Dad and Daughter tapirs (Mum was a bit grumpy so was enticed into the adjacent paddock with bananas). After a quick introduction to the animals we were then encouraged to stroke and tickle the tapirs who rapidly rolled over onto their sides to get more tickles whilst our guide continued to answer all our questions and provide a great insight into the workings of the zoo and the care of the tapirs. I really hadn't thought we would be able to get so close to these wonderful animals - what a fantastic experience. I suppose it was a bit expensive - so special occasions only - but in my view, well worth the cost as it is a unique experience and you know your money is also helping to keep the zoo up to its high standards.
Just a special mention of our keeper / guide, Poppy, who really made the whole experience something special. She was knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and clearly loves the animals in her care.

We went to the wildlife park for the experience of feeding snow leopards. The early morning private tour and champagne breakfast overlooking the tiger enclosure were all excellent.

The discussion with zookeeper Tony were very informative about the big cats and the park in general.

Unfortunately the zoo in general has the feel of being very much in need of renovation.

We visited with 2 boys aged 9 and 11. There is a lot to see in a fairly compact area. The high walkways for viewing the animals are al really good idea. The family all enjoyed the experience although I felt that perhaps some big cat enclosures were a bit small as we noticed one pacing rather agitatedly, we felt. Maybe some bigger play equipment for older children but mine were very happy. We were members of Whipsnade before and are used to all the space there, but it is expensive there if you pay for just a day. This was good value, I feel, as I booked online thru' a company which did family tickets for £44. You had to book the day before but that was fine. My older son preferred here to Whipsnade as he doesn't like all the walking around there, so the compactness was good for him!
