Good day out for the kids but I don't like it when you have to pay an expensive entrance fee, then get charged extra to use the miniature railway, formula one cars etc. Shame about the lagoon pool too, it was covered in duck poo!

Amazing for all ages.. you can get up close to most of the big cats. Especially at feeding times. Really good day out for the kids....<br>Make sure to buy a program for the kids as you get a free entry ticket on the back for them if you go back. We will definitely be going back

Just been here with our 2 grandchildren aged 7 and 1 and had a great day
Nice compact zoo with loads of animals, but not too much walking (result) and combined with a fabulous playground, all free with cheerfull helpful staff
Lots of cafes etc ,but we took our own food and plenty of seats/picnic benches to use and it is school holidays.everywhere was really clean especially the toilets.

Yes, expensive, but take two children anywhere and it does cost you. Go early and make a day of it to get full value and take a picnic so save a bit on the overall expense. See the animals first and later on got to the childrens' playground and you will have a good day (if the weather is kind(

I visited this park last weekend with my young grandchildren. They enjoyed the visit very much. There was plenty for them to do and see. They loved the splash pool as it was a warm day. When we went to the main cafe for lunch about 1.15 there were only 2 tills open out of 3. We had to queue for half an hour which took valuable time out of our day. When I finally reached the till I asked the girl why the third till was not open. She replied "I know". When I asked again she said "The park is very busy". Surely that is a reason to have all 3 tills open? The girl I spoke to was not a till but spent her time fetching drinks and food from the kitchen hatch for the two that were on the tills. Surely the two on the tills could have fetched those themselves? The tills were locked so no chance of stealing from them. All they did was take an order and the payment. I think the cafe needs more organisation.

Hidden away in deepest Hertfordshire is a hidden gem. We visited the Wildlife Park for a meet the Red Panda experience and loved not only the Pandas but all of the animals which were in obvious good health and more visible than in some of the parks we have visited. A great day out but take a picnic as the food and drink provided, whilst good, were over priced.

Me and my daughter done the junior zoo keeper experience today. I would highly recommend this, we both really enjoyed the whole day. We was shown around by miles who was amazing and shared lots of facts, we could see he was passionate about his job. All the staff were friendly and helpful. We will definitely be visiting again soon.

In successive years we have fed the meerkats, the red pandas and the female snow leopard. We cannot adequately tell you how wonderful these experiences have been.
In three successive annual visits, the staff could not have been better.
We will be going again next year.
We do not have children and have not eaten there apart from a special arrangement.
Were it closer to our home, we would certainly be there more frequently.

Chose to visit here after seeing it on television a couple of times in the past.
Came with just my partner - we love animal things so hoped it would be good.
Our local zoo is Colchester Zoo which is brilliant so usually we end up being slightly disappointed visiting elsewhere but it's nice to try somewhere new.
Parking facilities are great at the place, lots of room.
The prices are a bit high in my personal opinion, especially if a whole family were to visit.
The food area of the park is seperated off from the 'animal bit' which I think is great, it means you can view all the different choices and take your pick or multiple if people want different things - super handy. Also, the children's play areas are next to the food area too so I guess if visiting with children more time could be spent here. I believe there was also a picnic area.
We ate first then crossed over to the animal area, when crossing it is very safe, the gates do not open unless a staff member allows - this is helpful if children run ahead near the cars.
There was a good selection of animals to look at and being that the weather was nice most animals were out enjoying the sun.
We found it slightly hard to navigate where we'd been and where we hadn't (even with the map) but this seems to be the norm in most zoos!
I'd say we were there maybe 2 hours? Not very long considering the price and distance we came but again, I'm sure with children in toe this time would definately be increased! Worth a visit, not bad.

Visited with all our family. Great value for money and such knowledgeable and friendly staff. Plenty of animals to see and get up close to. Raised walkways to give overhead views. Talks from staff and advertised feeding times. Giant and FREE playground for children. Even a train ride available and superb food available to buy at reasonable prices. Highly recommende.d

Went to Paradise park with 3 kids and they loved it. It is small enough that you don't have to walk for ages but big enough to spend the majority of the day there. They have a wide selection of animals and lots of things going on from magic shows , train ride and talks. It is a small zoo but has a number of big cats. It also has a little water play area and an indoor play area.

We visited Paradise Wildlife Park for a Walk on the Wild side experience, it was well worth the trip from Bristol! All staff we encountered were friendly, and Matt, our guide was fantastic. We expected to be part of a group tour but luckily we were the only ones booked in so had a private tour! Matt took us all around the park and told us about the animals, he was extremely knowledgable and quite clearly passionate about his job. We got to meet and hold various small animals (a definite highlight!) and afterwards wandered around the rest of the park, looking at the range of animals that live there.
An amazing day that I would highly recommend, thank you Matt and Paradise Wildlife Park!

Love going to Paradise Wildlife Park. The grounds are clean, the animals are visible , tho you might have to try to look for a while to find them. The big cat collection is lovely. You can actually stand approx. 3 ft away from a fully grown Lion, Tiger or Cheetah. Food outlets are a fair price. Considering they survive on donations, this place is lovely. We are now lifetime members as we go quite a few times a year.

First visit today to Paradise Wildlife Park with the family. Staff on the admissions desks weren't particularly friendly or welcoming and the manager edged on the side of blunt and rudeness. However I appreciate you guys are busy and properly had to deal with lots of the same questions but a smile and a thank you wouldn't go amiss.

Walking through the first area to get to the zoo part was odd,but understand why it's needed. This zoo is aimed at familys with young children (and the kids did enjoy a play on the slides and swings in the afternoon). I wouldn't say it was a hugely busy day, but the toilets were obviously well used, and every time we used a block they were quite dirty. However I did see cleaning staff constantly cleaning - seems other guests weren't prepared to tidy after themselves.

The farm area was fun for the kids and we brought some bags of food to feed to the sheep and goats. Did leave wondering if the rabbits and guinea pigs ever got to go outside as they had no outdoor access like the other farm animals.

The big cats were all sunbathing which was nice to see, however I felt personally their enclosures were too small. I understand they sleep for large portions of the day and they all had toys to play with. But a bit more space and vegetation would have made things a bit more natural.

Stopped for the lemur talk, which I think was done by keeper Steve. Which was really interesting and informative. He obviously has a lot of passion to conserve and look after his animals :)

This is a place obviously in the process of a few changes - just become a zoological charity - I will return I think in a few years to see how you get on.

The kids had a great time spotting the animals and they all said they loved watched the emus having a bath, and spotting the snakes in the reptile house.
