Visited here with children junior & senior school age they found things to do and enjoyed seeing all the animals .The high walkways give you some great views of those animals that can be harder to spot.We looked on line and found a voucher as with all zoo type establishments the entrance fees are quite high (as their overheads are high too) but it was unexpected that you have to pay for the carpark and that added another £3.00 on to our visit, the train a further £1.00 a person although the tractor ride was free. We went to two shows and one talk ( all free) all the staff very friendly and knew an awful lot about their animals one keeper said to the children if you have any questions during your day just ask anyone in our green t-shirt that was a great tip.

Went today with the kids and other half for the little ones birthday. The kids had a blast and to tell the truth I feel it was good value for money compared to Other zoos.
Yes there are extra fees but it's not that expensive! The main attraction are the animals and if you stick to all the free activities and exhibitions, of which there are many, there is no need to spend extra than the entrance fee. Is it really necessary to go to a zoo and play mini golf or to squirt water at a wall when there is a splash pool for free and 4 other free play areas?
We took a picnic and were fine in finding a picnic bench to sit on as there were many. All the equipment was clean and all staff were friendly and smiling.
A fantastic day out was had by all and I would defo recommend.

Ok so found a deal on smart save with 20% off this park so thought we would try it £40.80 for two adults and 1 child with discount. I must admit a very nice little place, loved the tractor ride and the very short train ride which cost £1.00. The staff super friendly and helpful, but quite difficult to understand when giving the animal talks, I gave up listening in the end. Beautiful animals which looked well looked after, but the enclosures seem soooo very small.
The biggest disappointment however was the totally over the top prices for food, so bring your own.
Everything costs £5 or more, pizza n chips and I mean a defrosted Iceland small disc pizza, kids meal £5.10 and an adult size almost £8.00 omg ridiculous and an ice-cream £2.60 plus. Just one warning go without the sauces, tomatoes tastes ugh and mustard omg, we will call it washing up liquid.
Other than that lovely visit. (Make sure you watch the big cat feeding time)

Dad trip with the kids. Lots of playground stuff which keeps the kids well entertained; they probably preferred that to the animals. Some nice elevated walkways where you can better view the animals. Food is reasonably priced but also has a picnic area of you want to bring your own. Well worth a visit and can get a small discount if you book online. Parking is 3 quid which you can pay for if you buy tickets on the door.

We visited on the Saturday of bank holiday weekend and the good news is it wasn't too packed. It cost us £65 to to get in from a family of 4 which we thought was very expensive. We came a few years ago and had a good day but on this visit we were disappointed. The play areas were dirty with litter (used nappy in the sand pit?!) So many rides that you had to pay extra for, a "games and fun" type session on the stage my son want to go and play some of the games laid out so he walked up and 3 team members sitting on the stage...supposedly there to "entertain" sat talking completely ignoring the children even when my son stood by them trying to say hello to them they actively avoided eye contact. Take a picnic! We decided to treat ourselves to lunch out and wish we hadn't. A child's lunchbox was £5 and in it was half a sandwich, an apple, a multi pack pack of Aldi crisps , an aldi chocolate bar and a fruit shoot. For £5 I would have expected better. Our whole lunch was £30 and all we had were sandwiches and drinks. The animals themselves particularly the big cats were beautiful and some of the areas are being or have been updated since our last visit but some enclosures were seemingly empty, dirty and dated and some of the play areas were also dated and broken. (Cracked slide for example) Overall the kids had a great time but it was ruined for me by the high cost of everything and a feeling that we were being ripped off. Oh and £3 for parking after paying that entrance fee annoyed us too!

We went to paradise wildlife park today, after paying almost £50 for 3 of us to get in I was shocked to see how many activities you needed to pay for. There's a £3 fee just to park, you pay for the miniature railway, the go karts, water guns, etc. I heard various other mums also complaining. We also looked around the animals only to find a number of the enclosures empty. The toilets were filthy. Disappointed as had been looking forward to this for a long time

We enjoyed our afternoon at paradise wildlife park but I can't help but feel that some of the enclosures, especially for the big cats seemed very small. At other zoos it is often hard to spot the big cats as they hide out of sight but not so not so here. It was truly amazing to see such magnificent creatures up close and I have no doubt that the animals are happy, healthy and well cared for but it actually made me feel uncomfortable to think that they had such a small space to explore.

Things I liked:
* The information boards and talks were actually quite interesting
* Not too big so it is possible to see it all
* The raised viewing platforms
* Walking with the wallabies
* Big range of impressive big cats
* Red pandas!!!
* More than just a zoo-various play parks and soft play.
* Fast food at the diner

Things I didn't like:
* Paying £3 for car parking
* The annoying design of the exit gate and having to queue to get out. You don't have to go through the shop like many places though..
* Wasps, but hard to avoid in late August
* Like many places there seemed to be a few things not included in entry
* The queue for toilets/baby changing facilities
* The park is split in two with a road running through the middle
* There was nothing to see on the woodland walk.
* No elephants/giraffes

We paid £18 per adult to enter the park which at first, was a bit of a shock considering the advertised online price was £9 - I didn't expect such a big jump in price!

Walking around the park was enjoyable and the weather was good however we had to pay extra £2 each to play crazy golf and then extra to ride the train, I can't quite see what we got for our £18.

All in all, I just think it's a far too overpriced for adults.

A great place to bring children, it certainly seems it was design as a family day out. So many ways to amuse the youngsters. Although the park appears expensive, once inside most of the attractions are free, and £1 for a train ride is pretty good value. The restaurant is not out to fleece the customers. Of course the animals are the real attraction and they are magnificent.

We have just returned from a memorable trip to Paradise Wildlife Park. We stayed in the zebra suite and were pleasantly surprised at the high quality of the accommodation. Tea and coffee making facilities, toiletries in the bathroom and even thoughtful extras you could purchase, such as wine or soft drinks in the fridge! We were made to feel very spoilt with coffee and biscuits when we arrived and again when we went to our suite. We had an amazing breakfast overlooking the Tigers and we truly felt like VIPs. The staff were really brilliant and our guide Emma was hugely knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Thank-you to you all! Tina

A lovely zoo well laid out lots of animals and stuff for the kids to play on, quite a condensed zoo compared to lots of others so you dont have to walk miles and miles during the day but with no shortage of animals to see some up close so you can feed them.
A lovely family day out with the kids, very much worth a visit

went today for a Breakfast with the Tigers experience, well all I can say is brilliant, we were met at the animal centre and had refreshments, then met our keeper and went to visit the big cats, Ian was excellent, very knowledgeable and a good host. Had a nice buffet in the treetops cabin overlooking the tiger enclosure then was allowed to spend the rest of the day wandering the park,

We had been invited to a wedding in Enfield, and since we were coming from Guildford, I wanted somewhere to overnight. We settled on Paradise Wildlife Park as then the grandchildren could also spend a day at the zoo.
Excellent decision, since although we arrived almost at closing time, after the wedding, the staff were great, helping us up to the apartments and explaining the routine. We took both the Zebra and Tiger suites which were perfect for our needs. We had to go out for an evening meal but they had a lot of recommendations.
The next day we breakfasted overlooking the tiger enclosure, a real thrill for the children, and were then shown around by the grandson of the original owner. Great guy and good chat, even if he did have to rescue a bearded dragon which my grandson dropped.
We spent the remainder of the day looking at all of the animals with the children playing on the many amusements.
It appears to be very popular, someone at the wedding used to take school groups there, and now knowing some of the history, it was great to see them doing so well.
Easy to recommend.

Went on one of the hots days of the year. Animals all looked happy and well care for. Watched the bird display lots of information and the birds came very close. Great for photos. Lots of play area things for children, even a splash pool which was very busy. Have been coming over a number of years. It is now a much safer place for children with more enclosed areas.
Think no more children stuff as it may over take the animal side of the park.
Was surprised about the £3 parking fee that's new
But still great value for money.

I took my 8 year old son on a coach trip to Paradise Wildife Park with my mum. The entire park is just amazing beyond words. They have just about every animal you can think of, from the wild to the farm. They also have a huge play area for all ages including a free bouncy castle and inflatable slide, a helter skelter, small play attractions and also a jungle themed 18-hole crazy golf course for just £2 per person. There was also a water park/lagoon area but we didn't have time to go in there (we just about managed to see half the animals in 5 hours!) They have a free "sightseeing" tractor ride which slowly takes you around the park (holds around 12 people at a time). The cafes are at standard tourist prices and the gift shop is medium-sized and not over-priced (in my opinion). We will definitely be making a return visit soon!

I was gifted a visit to the park including a WOW tour and tickling a tapir for my birthday.

The park is fine although most of the entertainment is aimed at younger children than ours who are 11 and 9. The gift had been chosen because I have a thing about tapirs and that part of the experience was excellent - my daughter and myself literally spent 45mins tickling one of the zoo's four tapirs - Teddy - and he definitely seemed to enjoy it as much as we did. It really was wonderful to get up close to such a beautiful and docile animal.

The visit would then have got 5 stars but what dragged it right down was the WOW (walk on the wild side tour). This consisted of a group of 11 of us being walked around the park, first to feed some birds - although we weren't initially able to go in so had to come back, but something we could have paid to do separately for just a pound - the tour costs £50! Our tour leader was nice but not terribly knowledgeable and I felt he was thinking all the time "how can I entertain this people for an hour". After about 20 mins of pointlessly wandering around we went into a small private area and he passed round a snake and then a bearded dragon which we were briefly able to stroke and touch but because the group was so large it was very rushed. He then got another keeper to hold a hedgehog kind of animal for about 2mins which we couldn't touch. he has promised a tarantula which never appeared. The whole thing was hugely disappointing - thank goodness for Teddy I say.

First time at the park with 3 family's. Something for everyone to do, from toddler's to adults. Easy to get to by car, but the park does pick up and drop off from the station. Snacks and souvenirs available. Picnic areas available for people that bring their own. Well worth a visit.

We've been regulars to this park and my kids never get bored here!
So much fun to have whatever the weather.
Today was however the first time for us to enjoy the splash pond and the kids had lot of fun cooling down.
Yes, it was packed as expected on a hot day but I still managed to find seats while kids splashed about.
My kids are 4 and 10 years old, so really the best age for this pond. The really small ones struggled amongst the big kids and the teenagers just looked odd in there. It's still good enough to cool down on a very hot day.
There's also many shady areas if you prefer to stay out of the sun and there are ice creams and slush being sold just about everywhere.
We'll most probably back during the next school holiday and we are looking forward to seeing the new penguin pond/enclosure.

I did this with a member of my family as part of a birthday present. The whole day was first class, well organised, welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable staff and fantastic experiences with the big cats. As well as mucking out and preparing the food we got to enter the jaguar, ocelot and lion enclosures, help train the white tiger, and get up close with the wolves. Really enjoyed it and would thoroughly recommend it.

You will not be disappointed with a visit to PWP, whatever your age group. I must admit young children up to age 10 probably have the most fun.
every thing is such good quality: The indoor play jungle gym; the paddling pool (only in summer months) the outdoor play equipment; the bouncy castles helter skelter; tractor rides, all theses are included with entry - plus there is crazy golf; panning for gold; train ride; face painting; sand art; animal feed; at additional fees.
There are animal shows throughout the day by the keepers; birds of prey flying demonstrations. Food is reasonable priced here but there is plenty of space to picnic. Parking at the moment is free but I know they are going to start charging because they have just refurbished there parking facilities which cost them over a million pounds.
When you go to see the animals, oh my gosh, you will have such a close up and personal experience with all of them, even the lions and tigers (stand back, you might get sprayed on by them). You can pet a zebra and feed them. In the farm area you are encouraged to feed the pig, sheep and goats and rabbits. you can take your own carrots and chopped cabbage (cheaper than buying on site).
Look at PWP's web site because they offer experience days, where you shadow a keeper for the day or have a big cat experience. Saw people feeding the tigers, how amazing. the café Kiosks are excellent especially the one called tiger tree tops. PWP has made great use of the space it provides.
