We've just got back from a wonderful day out at PWP, having taken our young grandson there for his first trip to a zoo. There is so much to keep the kids occupied and entertained, the Tumble Jungle soft play centre went down well with us and the little fella. The big cats are awesome, especially the snow leopards, so beautiful.
It was lovely to see so many families enjoying a day out, I highly recommend PWP as a good summer family attraction.

Took my two boys here and we had a lovely day. We only live a few miles away so visit a few times a year and my children always enjoy themselves and cant wait to come back. I prefer it here to london zoo because of the play areas and little splash pool so although its not cheap to get in you can make a whole day of it. im not a animal welfare expert but the animals all seem to be well looked after the staff genuinely look like they care for them and are happy to answer questions. Will be visiting again soon

Great family day out for all. Plenty to do and see for all the family. Nice to see animals so well cared for and truly loved. We'll sign posted good clear information on the animals. Easy to get around with a buggy. Good facilities you have all you need. Great places to eat. As well as places to have a picnic. A really great fun playground for the kids. I had to drag the kids out. We will be going again and again. My tip look out for discount codes and voucher deals, this makes the day even better and good value.

We had a fantastic day out today at Paradise Park. There are a vast amount of animals there with a special section dedicated to Big Cats which was amazing. Everything is clearly sign posted with specific information relating to each animal. Lots of the animals are rescue animals, there is a focus on the problems the animals face and why lots of them are endangered, they also give examples of how to help the endangered animals.

We had a £10 off voucher so we paid £18 per adult and our 2 year old went free. We went to the park with our family and it was £15 for a child's ticket. There is an incredible amount to do inside the park so we spent most of the day there. The animals were split up into sections but they were easy to walk between. Nothing is too spread out yet nothing is too close together. I didn't feel like the park was packed at any point during the day.

A few of the adults went to play crazy golf (£2pp) while my daughter (2) went to all the slides, undercover bouncy castle, saw the safari dance show and took a ride on the train (£1). Everything in the park was reasonably priced although I did feel £5 for face painting was a bit much but saying that the face painting looked like stage make up quality and was fantastic (just didnt think my 2 year old would sit that long to have it done).

I can honestly say this is the best park I have been too. The grounds were exceptionally clean, plenty of toilets (no queuing), disabled access, easy to go around with a pram and some opportunities for little ones to pet the animals.

My only negative is that some people were walking around smoking. It would have been nice if there was a blanket ban on smoking in the park as there is such a high volume of children there.

Also bonus - we had a free box of goodies from the classroom area, a book about the park, stickers, toys, badges, colouring in sheets, a novel and sweets. This was a promotional event taking place that day.

I would definitely return to the park and recommend it to my friends. Thanks to the staff who were all very friendly and helpful throughout the day.

The park offers a fantastic day out for young and old alike. We were able to feed the goats, sheep and pigs and were able to watch the feeding of the park's white tiger.

I particularly enjoyed walking into the bat's cave and the bird display!

There is also a very nice play area for children.

I Need to start by saying that I really don't like zoos. I don't like seeing animals caged! The best thing about this zoo, is so many of the animals have been rescued from much worse places or are endangered in the wild. This means that part of all the money you spend goes to helping the world and not to a big corporation! However, the zoo is only a small part of what is a great day out for the kids, in rain and shine. The prices are reasonable and there is a large variety of things to do all included in the price. There are many on-line offers that make it even better value for money.

My daughter and I went to revisit this Wildlife Park for the first time in 40 years and what a difference.

We may both be adults but we had a great day out and I would recommend it to everyone.

It is a bit pricey to get in, but they have to have the funds to care for the animals and the attractions.

My only detrimental comment is that the coffee was foul. :)

Absolutely fantastic day out - we spent the morning with one of the zookeepers, learning about the big cats living at the enclosure, as well as had the opportunity to watch them train Baikal, the stunning endangered White Tiger. We also had breakfast at the Tiger Treetops area - a new addition where you could sit and watch the tigers in their enclosure at fairly close vantage point.

Absolutely breathtaking, and it is very clear that ALL the employees and volunteers absolutely love and cherish all animals and were only too happy to help answer our questions at any point.

Lots of areas to eat, clean toilets, good access for wheelchairs, and a large safe and detailed play areas for children as well as a lovely new woodland walk attraction which was really nice to go and do as part of our day out.

Extremely well organised there, with regularly laid on minibus transport to and from Broxbourne train station if you don't have a car.

Quite clear why Paradise is one of the best private enclosures in the UK. Was our first trip there, and won't be the last. Would highly recommend.

Just in reply to the review saying the shuttle bus tried to rip them off in fact its £1 each way and that is very clear from the signs plus all of the fares go to animal welfare "Should have gone to Specsavers " or the taxi is around £5 each way !!

Living in Cheshunt this is merely five minutes drive away from me and so I have been here about four or five times in the past six years. It is a great park that caters for all ages. The animals are loved and well looked after, and the staff show such great enthusiasm when talking to guests about the animals. There is a vast array of animals that you can see in enclosures that are more than adequate. My favourites are the Red Pandas but all the big cats are simply awesome with the White Tiger being great to photograph. My niece and nephew love the place and want to come back again soon, and so do I!

A tour around the big cats with the head keeper followed by tea over looking the tiger enclosure. Really informative and great viewing of the cats but the group size was a bit too big. Lovely food watching the tigers waiting for theirs.

Thoroughly enjoyed the park experience, so much to see and really interesting. The only criticism was that the bus driver tried charging us on the 'free' shuttle service to the train station. Be warned!

We have been to Paradise Wildlife park several times now. A couple of times using vouchers via amazon local.
This park is such great value for money. There is absolutely loads for the kids to do. Great play areas. There is animal feeding going on every 15 mins approximately, the staff there are friendly and knowledgeable about the animals, they welcome questions. Good eating places, indoor soft play, and good selection of animals, buggy friendly. All round a brilliant day out!

I've visited and fed the tigers here a few years ago and last month I was lucky enough to fed another amazing large cat, the white lions. I will only visit and support zoos, wildlife parks who have a breeding program in situ to promote conservation to keep an endangered species alive. I met and hand fed Moto and his two little girls although they really were not so little. Moto weighs 560lb and on his back legs stretched stood well over 7ft. The keeper of these incredible creatures is called Ian who has an immense amount of knowledge, loves them dearly, and in fact helped to hand rear Moto from a cub. He's passionate about what he does and believes like I do that if poaching and hunting doesn't stop lions and all the big cats will be extinct in a very short few years.
This park is small, but it has a very wide range of animals to see, all fairly close up too. They all looked loved and well cared for disregarding what some of these other posts say, it is a very well kept wildlife park.
Instead of moaning about having to pay for extras, educate yourselves and your children about the true and real meaning of this park.... Do you want to see these creatures in years to come, if you do, support it because sadly, these places are needed to keep some species alive.
The keepers are friendly, informative and happy to talk to you even though they have to work to a schedule.
It is on the flat and very accessible for the disabled. The facilities are plenty for the size of the park.

This place is just great. I was given a Lemur experience here and to be honest it was the first time I'd heard of it. I much prefer the smaller, more personal touch that Paradise gives, as opposed to ZSL Whipsnade or Woburn Safari Park. I found the staff to be very friendly, with lots of guests who have very high expectations. I think people need to remember that the park is looking after these animals and helping towards conservation - they're not just there for your entertainment.
There are so many things to do at Paradise, from the experience days, to lunch in the cafe, to wandering between enclosures. The Tiger Walk is a brilliant part of the park as it allows you to see the animals from above rather than having kids banging on glass and fences to get their attention.
I've booked a Meercat experience next and I'm even looking into the Taiper one. There are so many to choose from I'm spoilt for choice :)

Went to the Park today. Didn't take long to walk around and it was really noisy with lots of groups of school children. What happened to "children should be seen and not heard"!! Animals looked in good condition but obviously not happy with being locked up and some enclosures didn't look nearly big enough. They are renovating the otter enclosure so nothing to see there. Why not do it out of season? Parking spaces are pathetically small and really need to be re-done. Plenty for kids to do but if you are only there to see the animals it won't take you more than 1.5 hours to go round. we read lots of reviews before we went and had a 2 for 1 voucher so didn't pay full price - not sure if I would have done. It came highly recommended by someone we met on a photography course at Woburn Safari Park. After being driven around Woburn off piste with a photographer and a keeper I guess we were spoilt and Paradise had a lot to live up to.

We enjoyed the park very much, lots to do and great for our toddler.

We did howeve have an unfortunate experience with Leigh on the entrance gate. The park was supposed to open at 9.30 but none of the ticket windows were open even at 9.35 with long queues forming. Another member of staff, Roy, kindly gestured us forward to Leigh's ticket window. She seemed extremely irritated that we were there as she said she still had paperwork to complete! She asked us why we had come to the window when it still had the 'closed' sign on it. We explained that Roy had ushered us forward, at which point poor Roy got a massive telling-off! In front of the customer it was very unprofessional. How does Leigh expect people to get into the park with no ticket windows open?

I heard other people remarking how rude she had been. I suggest the manager has words about what customer service means!
