We love Paradise. Great selection of animals. Good food stalls. Really nice play areas including playgrounds, splash pool, soft play and large slides. Dinosaur train is really fun and the dinosaur experience is one of the best we've seen and we've seen alot! Reasonable pricing. We are members and go all the time as it just has everything we love. Mini gold available too. They offer lots of different experiences like night time dinosaurs and summer evenings.

This is the perfect place to take little ones, you have lots of animals which you can see up close, a dinosaur section, the splash park and soft play area. The restaurant is alright and quite reasonable. Nice day out for adults too.Visited on

Not autism friendly. We liked the park itself, the animals were great, it was really well done, worth the money to get in. The music and noise in the Jurassic part was awful, overly loud. The most difficult part was the amount of individual school groups there, it didn't seem staggered throughout the day; we were surrounded by about 5 different schools. The noise and crowds were awful, the teachers were equally as loud and shouting.
We thought we'd found one quiet spot (with designated 'quiet area' on the sign). But this wasn't adhered to, the schools paid no notice, and no attempt was made by teachers to let smaller groups in to lessen noise. It got the point where my son got upset and needed to walk off as soon as he saw school groups.
It would be helpful if the park had some rules in place for school groups, especially in this 'quiet zone'. Perhaps they could also stagger the times the groups came in. We traveled to visit and it was a real shame.

Today we had the great privilege and absolute pleasure of visiting Paradise Wildlife Park (as seen on One-Zoo-Three). This is the best zoo we have visited - and we have been to a lot - for several reasons.
Firstly, the animals are all very easy to view, and they clearly love their surroundings, they have ample space and foliage, suitable toys and activity to keep them occupied (you see animals in other zoos just pacing - not here)
The staff are very knowledgeable and approachable, keen to impart as much detail as possible during talks and when answering questions.
The layout of the zoo is very user-friendly, no massive hills to ascend, with massive crystal clear viewing windows with lots of space for people to see and photograph the animals.
Children are fantastically well catered for, with the Jurassic area, play areas and many activities - there are no negative comments to include here.
Our only disappointment was that we didn't bump into Aaron, Tyler and Cam, which would have made our day - we'll just have to go back!

A fantastic zoo with so many things to see and do. Wide selection of animals as well as dinosaurs, soft play, numerous playgrounds, the train and a splash pool.
My son loves coming so much that we ended up getting a year membership and visit probably once every fortnight.
The new Sun Bear enclosures are amazing and you can get quite close to them.
We will no doubt be back in the next week or two.

When booking we were advised to come very early in the morning. Excellent advice - we had the place to ourselves! Gets very busy later, lots of kids. Hanna C, the keeper, guided us through feeding the snow leopard by hand - we loved it, and Hanna was so friendly, helpful and knowledgable. Bear in mind that on arrival you will be asked to chose which cats you want to feed - you don’t get to feed all the cats with this experience. Snow leopards are fed by hand and you get to be REALLY close - others I think you feed at more distance, so that you don’t lose limbs - it’s probably still brilliant though.
Animals seemed happy and healthy, and the environment is beautiful. The habitat is kept as natural as possible, animals are not played with or interacted with (other than cleaning and feeding) by staff - they are kept in their wild state as much as it is feasible.
It’s definitely not cheap, and the actual big cat encounter only lasts half a hour, but it’s a unique experience, and in my opinion worth it. Also then you can spend the whole day in the park exploring and animal watching.

I love going to the zoo and taking my nearly 16 month old, I've taken him twice so far but I've visited many times before. We last went in the winter where most animals were in hiding but having been today in lovely weather almost all the animals were out and about.Visited on

A great place for a day out and well worth the entry price. With all the attractions - dinosaur walk, dinosaur train, soft play, park, shows and all of the animals in the zoo - we have an annual membership that has been great value for all the times we have been this year.Visited on
