I took my Son and Daughter, and their partners and children, for a family day yesterday and we had an amazing day apart from being bitterly cold. The children got to see Santa, and what a wonderful Santa he was and it was all done extremely safely. The animals were amazing as always and the children loved seeing the little Meercats under their heat lamps and watching the Tigers being fed was something else.
The park looked very festive too.
All in all a thoroughly brilliant day and would recommend to anyone. Look forward to our next visit when hopefully it will be warmer 😀

A great park. Not to big but with great visability of animals. Great for children. Grandchildren loved Dinosaur park. The use of old fire engine and train as climbing frame/slide is a good use for these. So much better then scrapping. Can see improvement under construction will enhance. Food expensive and unexciting but exceptable.

Excellent day out. You can park for free or for a surcharge you can park and drive around the whole zoo. The day we went the Elephants were in top form, chasing birds and deer in the fields, making loud trumpet noise's and chasing eachother around. Excellent photo opportunities all around the zoo. Not like some zoos where they go for quantity rather than quality. Easy access for all to enjoy the animals. If you have children there's a great adventure playground for them to burn off some steam. Have just upgraded the tickets to silver membership for two adults for £87 ,combined, for a whole year.

Took my nephew this weekend and had a really good time. I think it’s a tad expensive, the difference between adults and kids it’s not much, but in the end, you get what you pay for.

If your kids like dinosaurs, it’s a cool place to come. Very life like, moving and large dinosaurs, wide variety. Train (additional cost) is quite cool (sit towards the back, fumes near the front).

Animals are amazing as well, such a wide variety of all animals. Including tigers and lions - although a sad life for them.

I’d recommend going. Bring your own food!

Love this place, the shadow a keeper for a day experience is totally amazing the staff have turned passion for the place and the animals. It is a smaller than some zoos but this is a good thing as you are closer to the animals. Great play areas for the kids. Animated dinosaurs, one of the best zoos around.

It’s a good small zoo with quite a variety of animals and some excellent exhibit areas.

The lions and tigers have good enclosures with excellent viewing spaces. The snow leopard area appears well constructed. All the cats looked happy in their spaces. The use of shipping containers to create the double deck tiger space for the public is great.

There’s also clear evidence of lots of work being done to improve the zoo and lots of new fencing, everything really clean and tidy. New exhibits for the leopards and sun bears mean neither are there but look like something to look forward.

The only negative are the wolves - they are in a very small space like a back garden near the over loud dinosaur park near the part the train stops in and looked both distressed and unhappy, moving around their small space looking generally alarmed. All the other animals seemed content and well cared for. But the wolves looked upset and the Dino noises are really intrusive. Went back a couple of times and the wolves looked just upset.

Recommended but the wolves gave some pause for thought. Compared to the enclosure at Cotswold where the wolves appear to be happy going about their day in a space that is at least 3 times the size or more and much care is taken to create a quiet space this was a bit sad to see. I hope paradise take some action to make the wolf space a happier place.

Didn’t go in the dinosaur or other areas and the entrance areas with the paid rides and stores make it look like you are going into a sort of run down fairground when you get inside. But the wildlife area makes for a good visit and while the zoo is smaller than many it has some interesting animals which are well worth seeing. Not too crowded and the visitors were, on the whole, also pretty well behaved.

The information boards are great and lots of parents were reading them with their kids. Very colourful and informative.

One small point - the piped music in the lion and tiger areas is a bit too loud and the effect is a bit weird. It’s hard to ignore.
