I have been married now for 15 years so have never needed to get a dress from this particular shop, but I do have an 18 year old daughter who has had May Balls and Proms for the past 2 years (very expensive!) I was at my whits end, so popped into the white wardrobe to see if there was anything in there that would make my daughters night a little more special. I was greeted by Nicola, who was very friendly, polite and welcoming, we looked at shoes and dresses and although we didn't find a dress for her, I would highly recommend this particular shop to anyone thinking of getting married as its lovely! I especially like the recently decorated décor! the shop always looks clean and the window displays are updated regularly

I would throughly recommend 'The White Wardrobe' in Hitchin as the best Bridal shop i know for many reasons. The shop has the most amazing choice of dresses for Brides and Bridesmaids alike, the decor and atmosphere is wonderful and makes you feel very comfortable. The service is second to none, the owner Nicola makes you feel welcome and obviously loves and enjoys every part of her business. Nicola certainly knows her trade and offers fantastic and honest advice.

Not many people can say they love their job but Nicola, the owner genuinely does, the shop is lovely, welcoming place to spend time, with beautiful, personally selected dresses, shoes and accessories. I think her great taste, hard work and good old fashioned customer service have been perfectly combined. 5 stars

I was recommended the White Wardrobe by a friend. At the time I was living in Dorset and made an appointment on a flying visit to Hertfordshire - I did not leave that trip disappointed! Nicola has a wealth of expertise and was very helpful in pointing me in the right direction of dresses that would suit my figure! The shop had a relaxed atmosphere and the whole experience was stress free! A very different experience to previous shops I had visited. She helped me find the perfect dress and was fantastic at squeezing in an extra appointment two days later, so I could bring back the parents to have a sneaky peak and pay!! My Mum was so impressed that she went back and brought some bridesmaid dresses for a cruise in the sale! Nicola also recommended the perfect seamstress who helped with the finishing touches. Thank you again Nicola, without your help the day would not have been perfect! x

well all i can say is the service by Nicola and her staff is absolutly brilliant! my sister got married last year and the way in which we were all treated and looked after was truely amazing. was totally happy with the way in which you were made to feel. she made you feel comfortable and gave you all the help and honest advice with fittings and what looked good for my figure. so i would certainly recommend the use of the white wardrobes service. if your looking for someone to make you look gorgeous for your special day then look no furthur!! white wardrobe all the way :@) teresa evans shropshire

Nicola has a real flair for making brides look and feel a millioo dollars and has a lot of experience - so she can give really great advice. The shop is a friendly place to visit but full of loveliness. I would definitely recommend that anyone getting married makes an appointment. Make your special day magical with a dress which really flatters you. You'll get a great service from the White Wardrobe for sure.
