I put a review on last year for WIBN and I'm still here! Now a member for 2.5 years I must say how well Hitchin WIBN has done for us. The ladies not only give great referrals, they have out done any other networking group in terms of business generated. It's also not just a business group but provides useful advice, tips, training and above all support to its members. Ladies if you are in need of meeting like minded souls in a non-pressurised environment to boost you and your business this is can really work for you.

I have been a member of the Hitchin group of WIBN for nearly 4 years now and took over running the group 18 months ago. The business ladies in the group are very supportive of each others businesses and not only use each others services where possible but recommend each other too. We have about 25 full time members and a regular stream of visitors each month too so the meetings are always busy and lively. I would highly recommend any ladies who run their own business or work in a business who are looking to expand to come along for a visit. There is no pressure to join.

Women In Business is such a friendly group, but it's not just a 'social'. Before I joined, I was concerned that I would come across a group of women who were not really serious about their businesses and were just using it as a way of meeting new people and having lovely lunches! I had experienced that type of group before and found it degrading and frustrating. However, I soon realsed that WIBN is not such a group, and everyone I met really were 'women in business'. They are all relevant business women who are open and direct about what they are looking for and how they can work together. The Hitchin WIBN group is one of the largest and most proactive groups I have ever visited and I didn't hesitate to join. The WIBN network is a major source of referrals for my business and is an essential part of my marketing initiative. I would encourage any professional businesswoman to visit a WIBN group wherever possible. The Hitchin group members cover a wide variety of professions and would welcome visitors to their meetings. Increasingly people are sourcing business and services from people they know and therefore naturally turn to their network contacts. I find this the most cost effective, yet enjoyable, way of growing my business with genuine referrals from members.

WIBN is a must for any woman with her own business. I have made great friends, business contacts to discuss ideas with, and learnt alot about other businesses in the local area. It is not another pushy networking group, but a group of likeminded business women who are always looking out for ways to promote one another. What a wonderful organisation. I joined 18 months ago and have found it to be one of the most supportive and worthwhile networking groups. The meetings are relaxed, well run, informative and good fun. Its certainly benefited our business not only with work but with good friends too.It's good to see the softer, female approach to business works so well and the Hitchin branch is a credit to all the lady members. Best of Hitchin has become THE must join organisation in the town and the events are so friendly; so well organised; a real pleasure to attend - completely unlike any other networking I've ever been to! This is our second year as members of thebestof Hitchin. I remember going to the very first networking event and feeling really nervous, Louise and Keith made me feel welcome and I had a really enjoyable and useful evening.
