Perhaps a braised review as I loved the durrell books as a kid, but loved it there, clean and tidy, knowledgeable keepers and happy looking animals

Beautiful setting with a good museum about the origins of the park. However very disappointed with the layout and type of enclosures for the animals

High entrance fee. Went in winter when half the animals are not on show but still paid a fortune

This is an excellent wildlife park that emphasises the survival challenges for their many endangered species and clearly the organisation does a lot around the world.

We had a long and fascinating chat with a student who's studying the aye-aye. We feel that Durrell could do more to explain that it takes 10 minutes for human eyes to adjust to the low lighting. We saw no signage outside the various aye-aye enclosures to encourage visitors that it's worth persevering.

Fabulous place!

Love the Meerkats, Gorillas, Orangutans, Pink Flamingoes in the Durrell Wildlife Park. One of the must places to visit in Jersey.

Great to see close up of animals in a conservation project that works.

A wonderful zoo, specialising in protecting species. I particularly love the gorillas, orangutans and meerkats. We always have to remind our daughter that there are none of the usual zebra, giraffe etc at this zoo but she loves it. The cafes are great, there are short talks throughout the day at various enclosures and all the animals live in great environments and seem very content.

The Durrel organisation does sterling work throughout the world in protecting endangered species, and the zoo is ok but old fashioned in places with small cages for the birds etc. Gorillas were brilliant though as were the orangutans and gibbon we saw.

An extensive complex with the animals enclosed in as fairly natural surroundings as possible.
