Got married on Jersey the day the gorilla was born in 2012, fantastic place. Great scenery. The best day was spent in the wildlife park, it's all so beautiful.

Great day out!
Visited here while staying at St Helier and ouor visit happened purely by chance to coincide with Durrell Day, a celebration of the park with lots of attractions, displays and good food and drink.
Loads of interesting animals to see here, including gorillas with a baby.
Staff were very knowledgeable and helpful when asked and there is a building with a history of the park and its founder Gerald Durrell in which was really interesting. Well worth a visit if you are on the island.

My step brother had his wedding here and the location was brilliant. We were allowed access the day before to set up. The staff were very helpful and there are some great photograph locations. When I go back to Jersey I will spend a day going around the park.

This is an excellent wildlife park that emphasises the survival challenges for their many endangered species and clearly the organisation does a lot around the world.

We had a long and fascinating chat with a student who's studying the aye-aye. We feel that Durrell could do more to explain that it takes 10 minutes for human eyes to adjust to the low lighting. We saw no signage outside the various aye-aye enclosures to encourage visitors that it's worth persevering.

Fabulous place!

Love the Meerkats, Gorillas, Orangutans, Pink Flamingoes in the Durrell Wildlife Park. One of the must places to visit in Jersey.

Great to see close up of animals in a conservation project that works.

A wonderful zoo, specialising in protecting species. I particularly love the gorillas, orangutans and meerkats. We always have to remind our daughter that there are none of the usual zebra, giraffe etc at this zoo but she loves it. The cafes are great, there are short talks throughout the day at various enclosures and all the animals live in great environments and seem very content.

The Durrel organisation does sterling work throughout the world in protecting endangered species, and the zoo is ok but old fashioned in places with small cages for the birds etc. Gorillas were brilliant though as were the orangutans and gibbon we saw.

An extensive complex with the animals enclosed in as fairly natural surroundings as possible.

A wonder full zoo, I don't usually agree with the idea of a zoo but this is the exception, very large enclosures for the animals. I loved the 10 minute talks given about the animals throughout the day.
