Warm friendly staff, spa would be perfect if pool wasnt soo coollldd.
Cleanliness n hygiene leaves some, well, alot to b desired im afraid. The gangway from pool to ladies changing needs constant attention an does not get it, all the other floor areas get swiped with the rubber mob except that gangway for some reason!
Every time i have a drink, lemon water, hot chocolate, juice, tea, it upsets my stomach, i wonder if this happens to anyone else or if its just my tummy that get triggered with these drinks, i dont know but i have little confidence in the hygiene im afraid.

I love this place. My fiancé and I live in California and my fiancé's twin sister lives in Kettering. This is our second Christmas staying at the hotel. We love it. The staff is great. The gym is great. The spa is great. The breakfast is great. The BLT in the tavern is the bomb.

I have always enjoyed staying hear as the staff are always polite and helpful and the shared communal areas and spa facilities are always at a high Standard. Unfortunately on this visit the room we stayed in is starting to look a little tired and in need of a makeover and some work doing which is a shame. I had my robe and slippers taken from the changing room and was left with nothing to get back to my room. After a 15 min waiting a member of staff got me a robe to get back to my room but when asked for a fresh one and slippers for the morning was refused which I find very petty and tight. We also forgot our toothpaste and when asked at reception if they had any we was charged £2 for a tiny miniature tube.
My point is these little incidents gave us a bad experience and for the cost of them being so tight gave us a bad experience.
I personally think they should have emergency supplies behind reception just in case this happens to others.
I will be returning as we love the spa but I wanted to make my point clear. Hopefully management will see this and make some changes.

Friendly and helpful staff, lovely room.
Night porter's need to monitor noise control and drunken behaviour on all floors not wait for a complaint after the event!
Due to a noisy 'party' that went on through the night, our relaxing experience was spoilt!!

Would highly recommend. We had a lovely stay - from walking in to the very festive Christmas decorations, to the super helpful staff, the amazing massage and the delicious dinner, we really did have a brilliant time. We will definitely be back!

We stayed 26th Nov - 27th Nov.
I wish there was a word to describe our stay. We arrived to a beautiful welcome from the reception staff, an absolutely impeccable room. Beautiful bottle of Rose to welcome us to the room. Perfectly clean, bed and pillows were so comfortable. Spa was beautiful, the bar was so relaxing and all the staff couldn't do enough for us. Making sure we were okay and had everything we needed. Brilliant table service. I can't explain how helpful and kind each and every staff member was.
Food was impeccable. Dinner and breakfast. I was so happy that the experience was as amazing as it was, as it was a surprise birthday weekend away for my partner.
I will definitely be returning and telling all our friends and family. It was the best stay I have ever had. Also the first time we have been away without our daughter, four years and this has topped any time away we have ever had. Perfection. I cannot thank you enough. Exactly what we needed. I'm so impressed. 10/10 x

Stayed over for a couple of nights for a wedding and have to say the staff we’re fantastic. My daughter has autism and really struggled at points, she was brought a blanket during our meal and allowed us have breakfast in the room, even thought we didn’t arrange it prior.
We didn’t fell uncomfortable or judged when she had a meltdown, it was very refreshing. Hats off to the team, unfortunately it’s rare to receive such understanding and kindness.

Had the most wonderful and delicious meal in the restaurant and was blown away by the staff and service. They have really got it right when it comes to customer service. In particular the restaurant Manager and Aphrodite went the extra mile. Highly recommend!

Good food, wine and a friendly and welcoming environment.
Excellent service from all of the staff, particularly Damien and Tieghan in the Spa, Caroline on reception, Olivia and Aphrodite in the dining area and Lorna
behind the bar. The team are a credit to this hotel.

Excellent service in all areas. Rooms clean and well resourced. Liked the table service breakfast as it's more covid secure and avoids the waste often seen when breakfast is buffet style. Didn't use the spa this time but it looked busy and everyone looked happy. Well done to all the staff. We had a really enjoyable weekend. Thanks

I've just got back from a weekend here at the hotel and spa. I couldn't fault it. The spa was excellent, the treatments were excellent, the restaurant and food were excellent, the room was excellent but, most important, the staff were amazing, friendly and helpful throughout the whole stay. I would definitely stay here again.

Great stay
Great Staff.....as soon as you walk thought the doors the exterior falls from your mind, checkin was swift, then booking times for breakfast and spa.....the on site restaurant was fully booked we found out when we booked over the phone, we found out on site that we could possibly eat in the bar, a-bit if miss communication....they have overflow tables I'm sure for hotel guest.
The spa is timed so not over crowded which makes it a nice environment, plus side you can order drinks while in there, the pool/steam room/sauna were great but jacuzzi was broken.
Your Rooms are massive, this hotel is set up for business men/women rather than holiday. This is great as even the standard double was massive.
The bar was really priced staff were Excellent and there glasses were so clean.
Breakfast was nice, £20 each worth it, well hard to say, 1st day we were early and can't fault it, 2nd day much later and you waited a little longer.
Other point is having a discussion about when it says toasted....and you get a warm stale muffin on your eggs Benedict....they to justify buy saying others moan it's to hard....well that's there issue as toasted is toasted!!! If you put toasted I expect it to be toasted and you can't have warm soggy muffin with eggs Benedict.
The evening meal we had there the next night was good, a few issues but mainly what we expected rather against what we got.
The rooms were clean, nice size tv with a lot of channels but the TV isn't smart.
The room is dated but it's clean and the furniture is solid wood which is why it's lasted, my favourite is the doors DON'T slam shut, they are also very well insulated from noise or we had really good Neighbours, another plus for us was you can flush the loo and not hear it at all. The description and pics are a true representation of the rooms in this place.
Car park is massive but was very busy and as we found the place is also used for meeting and at the time midwifery??? So was quiet odd with these random people roaming the corridors.
If your staying for work this is a great place, spa weekends again a nice stay once your in your room/spa or bar etc.

Just back from a lovely 2 day spa break celebrating a special birthday with my friend, the hotel, staff and service were perfect from start to finish. Food was amazing, spa and treatments relaxed and restful, all the staff we met had a friendly smile and nothing was too much trouble. Had a wonderful weekend and would not hesitate in booking again

Kettering Park Spa hotel is a nice hotel; it's got a good feel to it, and despite being right by a main road, it's not too noisy. The décor is tasteful, and although it's not the nicest hotel in the range, it's got lots of good features, and feels like something a bit special. There's a bar, a pool, spa treatments, and I did really like the room we had - the bed was comfortable and large enough, and I really liked the raised area with both a sofa and a desk. In fact, there was another little desk tucked away in the room as well, so two people could easily work on their novels from here!
The one area that lets it down is the staff training; when we arrived, it took about 10 - 15 minutes to check in. The member of staff was polite and helpful, but was very baffled by our booking with Hotels.com, checking and re-checking whether we'd paid in advance, whether they needed to pre-authorise our card, whether we should pay now for breakfasts and a spa treatment etc. This was repeated at breakfast; there was one member of staff who did greet us in a friendly and organised fashion, but we had to wait a while for another person to come and take our order, and rather than saying 'hello, good morning, can I take your order?' they just stared at us silently until we ordered. That day, our breakfasts came almost instantly - before any drinks, and without the toast we'd ordered - and they were warmish, having obviously been under lights for a while, waiting for someone to order the Northern (i.e. full English) breakfast.
It wasn't a one-off; the next day the first part of our breakfast was delivered by a very confused member of staff who came over to our table and said 'um, is this your breakfast?' and rather than ask whose breakfast was whose, just started putting it all down on the table for us to sort out. Call me finicky, but if you're charging £20 per person for breakfast (and £5 extra for hash browns!) you should at least make sure your staff have good training.
No-one was unpleasant; we didn't have a bad time - but there were times when we felt like we were a bit of a burden on the staff, who were just a bit confused by the customers and the process of running the hotel. It's got great potential, but please, please, invest in some training to help your staff be nice AND great at what they do - at the moment, they're just nice!

Our 2nd stay at Kettering Hotel&Spa after enjoying our first visit. Upon booking for a group the manager said that we had to sign up a contract no cancellation 2 weeks prior to our stay.I felt this was unfair considering the times we are living now with covid-19 and things can chamge anytime.I did feel that we had been profiled following our previous stay where they said some things thay were not true.
Anyway in the end we enjoyed our stay and Lovely Victoria Neuman delt with my numerous request including cancellation at no extra pay!! We had a great time the staff are very friendly and helpful and the food is amazing. The rooms are very comfy too
We will definately be back again.

Stayed for a two-night spa break. Absolutely first class in every respect. The spa area and swimming pool facilities were fantastic and perfect for a relaxing break. Treatments were very good and the spa staff were very helpful and professional. The menu was very good and all the staff that served us during our stay couldn't have been more attentive or courteous. There is absolutely nothing we could fault during our stay. We will definitely be back.
