This place is amazing. Even covid 19 going on the customer service was amazing. The ladies on the hotel counter Helen and Claire were amazing. Always smiling and happy to assist. The room was big and clean. Even though the staff can't clean your room everyday, whatever was needed was brought to you within a few minutes. It is in a perfect location with food arrays across the road. This truly is an amazing hotel and if you want to be treated special then this is the place to go. Thank you Helen and Claire, you guys are a true asset to the company.

Good value deal that included dinner bed and breakfast. Spacious rooms with all the amenities, although the bathroom lock occasionally got stuck. Food was very nice in the restaurant. There were lots of hand sanitising stations but very few staff wore any face coverings.

Nice looking hotel, spa was the best part of my stay. Dinner was very nice but my service was quite appalling it took 45 for the waiters to even notice me and take my drink details and it took another 10minutes for that to come and our food all together costed £103 which was overpriced for a burger and abit of Rabbit. The room was nice and the bed was very comfy. Breakfast was just completely overpriced and shambolic wouldn’t recommend at all, only highlight for me was the pool

The wine list is enough to keep us coming back and the food was cooked to perfection. Steak was quality. Pity the restaurant manager couldn't find a decanter for a wine we'd brought with us but the Chablis was excellent.

Recently visited. The hotel rooms are more than adequate and comfortable, not modern but clean and tidy with everything you need. The dinner was a let down, I've always experienced tasty food in hotels but this was extremely basic for the price. One starter was just 3 mini sausages (10cm) on a plate no dressing, garnish nothing and they wanted over £6 for it. The main wasn't much to follow by and very tasteless.
Breakfast on the other hand was lovely, served by great staff and tasty if you like a fry up.
The pool was overcrowded so we didn't get to use the facilities. Had to sit a watch other people swim from the loungers with the 1 hour slot they give you as only a certain amount of people in the pool and 2 in the jacuzzi. Very let down by this. Why over book the area.

I stayed whilst attending a three day training course held at the hotel. Friendly and efficient staff, room was clean, well equipped and comfortable and overall a good experience.

The suite was not worth £175 per night. No fresh fruit in room or toiletry gift set as promised on website and the extractor fan in the bathroom did not work. All very disappointing.

Tired hotel but very clean. Staffing levels too low - hard to find anyone or get answer if telephone reception. Good evening meal, well cooked, tasty and quick. Beds, showers and towels good. Breakfast - oh dear, poor service, poor food quality, not a nice experience

It's just starting sto show its age and the location isn't the best. On the other hand the staff are excellent, the food is delicious and the gardens are wonderful. Couldn't try the pool or the spa due to covid, etc. But it certainly looked nice!

Maybe because it's just after the C-19 and everything is shut, there was no pool access or Spa so it was kinda just ok. Clean rooms, though. I stayed 2 nights and the room was not turned down, teas, coffees etc were not replenished, so I am not sure if I had to specifically ask for that. Like I said though, rooms were clean, staff were friendly, and the grounds are beautiful. It's close to Wicksteed Park and a mini shopping area so it was ok in the end.
