Really nice hotel and spa. Friendly staff and food facilities. Very comfy beds and a pillow menu! Environmentally friendly with milk and water machines and your own little fridges to cut down on plastics and recycling bins etc. Nice touches.

Nice place, good value for money and nearly all staff very friendly and helpful. Please educate your staff on what accessible changing rooms are there for and next time we hope to be able to give you a 5.

Really lovely hotel we have just stayed the night (Christmas Eve) Woke up to a Christmas card from all the staff which was a really nice thought. The spa was lovely and relaxing just a shame there wasn’t an option to get drinks brought to us. We had to go to the bar in our robes. Room, staff and overall vibe of the place was great tho. I will be returning and would recommend to anybody.

A pleasant stay. Had a double room, meal and breakfast. The £30meal allowance is enough but if you only have 2 courses then you are better off paying for what you eat. Mains around £16, starters and desserts about £7. Breakfast was plentiful, with continental, English cooked breakfast and specials (included in Breakfast deal if taken as B&B)

The staff and facilities are very good, let down with food no where near good enough for the claims. You can't hide from buying poor produce, the sausages, bacon and Eggs all fell woefully short, and breakfast was a strange affair with being served from a buffet. Evening meal didn't match expectations, not awful, just not amazing. Staff excellent though.

Pleasant staff, very accommodating, however for the price paid I did expect more from this Hotel.
I found the rooms to be dated and in need of multiple minor repairs and the bar prices to be higher than I would have expected, especially with so much local competition.
Overall a decent stay but would I return? who knows.

Great hotel and more. So much more comfortable and characterful inside than might be assumed judging only from the outside.
Food is exceptional as are the facilities.
I attended for a conference for which the hotel was very well equipped.
Coffee machines were brilliant!
Overall a great five star experience

We had a great lunch in the bar area, staff were very helpful, with the messy water Leo and a dairy and gluten intolerant customers.

Spent a few night here whilst on a training course. Didnt get time to try the spa but it looked good. Food quality was variable but the rooms were clean and tidy. Would use for business, but maybe not pleasure.

Lovely room and attentive staff. The spa was a little overcrowded but on discussion with a regular that isn't normally the case.

Lovely hotel with excellent spa facilities. Staff very professional and helpful. Breakfast was a little chaotic however I suspect this was a one off as our experience at dinner and in the bar was brilliant. Overall a very enjoyable stay and good value for money

Had a lovely overnight stay for my birthday. The room was spacious, bed comfy and loved fresh milk in fridge not horrible long life capsules! Spa was great - very clean although there could be more loungers. Had lovely treatment. Restaurant was great and staff friendly. Would recommend to others. Thanks fumor a lovely break

Had a great 1 night stay here with a friend. Room was bright and clean. Loved that they're trying to reduce single use plastic and have real cups and reusable plastic glasses for their tea/water/refreshment tray. Pool was busy on a Saturday afternoon but enjoyable nonetheless. Breakfast on Sunday morning offered lots of choice. Check-in was a little slow but who's in a rush when you're on vacation?

Parking was free and easy (plenty of spaces). Check-in was faultless (very friendly staff) and our Signature Double Room was clean with excellent facilities (I have never stayed in a hotel with a phone in the bathroom before).
We used the spa facilities which were very good although there were no instructions on how to go about getting a drink (from the pool side you have to knock on the glass door next to the spa reception and ask). Would have been nice if there had been a water dispenser near the outdoor lounge part. There is a dispenser in the changing room but it only has that horrible cone shape paper cups so its pointless. In the end I ordered a soft drink from reception and then just reused the beaker.
The food in the restaurant is good but very expensive. I had pate for starter which didn't come with any bread/toast. I asked the waitress why they provided side plates yet no-one had bread and she replied that I had to purchase the bread at a cost of £4.25 (which also came with oils etc). Would be a really good idea to offer a slice included ! I had the chocolate brownie for dessert which was about £7 and its the smallest I have ever seen (half the size of what you would get in most other places).
The room was very quiet over the evening/night. I'm not sure if that's because its insulated well or the hotel wasn't busy but it was a very nice comfortable room.
The Breakfast staff the following morning were all very friendly. The hot breakfast was a buffet but you have to ask for each item to be served onto your plate. Overall I would rate it as good although once again there seem to be a lack of bread (there was only two pieces left and I had both of them which I noticed wasn't replaced by the staff).
Checkout was quick and easy with no issues on the billing. My wife had used a debit card as part of the check-in procedure and they had taken a £50 'deposit' out off and they refunded the difference for the bill.
Overall this is a good hotel but I wouldn't book an evening meal here unless I got an inclusive deal like I did this time round.

Nice hotel, cleanand welcoming. Staff great, very helpful. Food absolutely dire, I can't remember having worse meals anywhere in all my life. Along with 49 others in our group we will never return, ever, not at all, definitely.
