It was fine, nice food, nice location. No drinks menu when having sit in meal and waitress had long false nails and another had holes in clothing. Overall were able to assist well but looked like they might have been new to working there.

It's Bank Holiday Monday, hadn't reserved a table for lunch. The staff were welcoming, we sat outside in the sunshine, the pub was accommodating; as we had not pre-booked for lunch. The food was lovely, reasonably priced. Would recommend to anyone. Great for families and dog- friendly.

Cheeky Sunday afternoon beer after a walk around Thrapston lakes. Very popular pub. I didn't eat but looking at what coming out of the kitchens the portions sizes looked respectable and I didn't see plates being sent back other than empty.

We visited the Woolpack last Sunday and really enjoyed ourselves. Firstly, as a family of 2 adults, 1 child and 2 dogs, we were made to feel very welcome in the bar area. We had a coffee each to warm up and decided to book a table in for lunch. After dropping the dogs off at home, we returned and sat in the restaurant. Adults had a roast chicken and pork, child had sausage chips and beans. The food was lovely, especially the chicken which was cooked to perfection.
It was a really enjoyable visit and we will be back for sure.
