Great pub in a great spot. Had a lovely lunch and the staff are friendly, the food service efficient and moreover the food is absolutely delicious. Shame that this place isn’t my local or I’d be in here all of the time. Good size car park, but could imagine that most of the trade is local and doesn’t need to park a vehicle.

Nice village pub serving food and drinks. Rooms also available behind the pub. Drinks on the pricey side compared to the local alternatives, but this pub has a nicer atmosphere and less riff raff.

Went for Sunday lunch. Two courses for £14. I had the lamb and a dessert which were very good. Excellent value. Will definitely be going again.

My partner and I stopped here on way home for a quick drink and possibly food. The pub seemed lively and welcoming, unfortunately the food menu was limited and slightly on the more expensive side for us

We have just arranged a large family gathering/meal at the Woolpack and cannot praise them enough. There were 26 of us! Nothing was too much trouble from the moment we booked. Kirsty and her team gave us fantastic friendly service throughout. Highly recommended

Nice place to go for a meal in the upstairs restaurant or a drink in the bar. They also have some rooms should you want to stay overnight. Food was all tasty and served by a bunch of lovely staff. Portions are availabke in kid and adult rather than a separate kids menu. Wine list available if you fancy a glass with some ok wines available. Also quite a nice place for a pre or post lunch walk.
