Surprisingly fabulous cathedral that's in need of some restoration and on the exterior. Interior is worth a good look around.

A beautiful building. In a lovely city. Free entry but they do ask for donations. Only fair considering the couple of hours you can easily stay in there. The staff are all friendly. There were a number of tours going on during our visit. Each guide oozing information about the history and design. The craftsmanship is absolutely outstanding in this place. I highly recommend visiting

Impressive Gothic cathedral with three spires close to the city centre. Unlike some religious buildings this one has a happy, busy feel to it. Welcoming staff and free admission although a donation towards the maintenance costs would be welcome.

Only 3 spired Cathedral in UK. Some splendid artefacts. books, and other antiquities including gold and silver from excavation works locally. A tranquil setting where you can take a picnic if you wish.

Stunning and definitely worth a visit. The meet and greet at the entrance was such a loverly touch. So helpful to have people standing by to give you some knowledge around it. The touch screens are also a great idea.

I went there a couple of years back and the structure was outstanding in addition to the great services held there

Fantastically impressive gothic cathedral rears up like an alien spaceship over the placid leafy Stowe and Minster pools. I don't know of any other cathedral quite like it in the UK.

Lichfield Cathedral is only 30 minutes from our home so it is our local cathedral. We have been here so many times - I couldn't count how many. My mum and dad came regularly before my dad passed away. My dad was a member of a choir which specialised in sacred music and had been an organist. They both found so much peace and happiness in this place. My husband and I have also been coming for a long time. There is a feeling of peace, reflection and calm about the building. It gives us a chance to focus on spiritual rather than worldly matters. Everyone there is friendly but very aware of the need for the Cathedral to engage with injustice at home and overseas. It provides the perfect place to be still and reflect on what matters most.

Visited the Cathedral illuminated 'The Angles are Coming'...it was absolutely beautiful, the visuals and music were magical and really brought home the true meaning of Christmas. The Christmas trees and all the angel displays inside the cathedral were equally stunning, the cathedral looked so beautiful, calm and serene we could have stayed there all night. Thank you to everyone involved in the magical display, it really was wonderful xx

This cathedral is a must to visit if you are in the area, as soon as you enter, you instinctively stop talking, you can take as little or short a visit as you want but take time to sit and think for awhile, take a camera but ask if you can use it, they will usually say yes for a small donation, well worth it.

The christmas light show was a very pleasant surprise. Well done to music, no charge, but rightly so, you are encouraged to donate.
I hope they do similar again in 2017!

We visited the cathedral while an orchestra was rehearsing for a concert. It was so wonderful to sit and listen. To get the true effect of this magnificent building from 1095 period. It was a beautiful building and we enjoyed the Christmas tree displays very much. I was disappointed when we went into one side room and the guide's first comment was that the bishops used to use that room to discuss the finances of the church. For the only comment to make - I found that odd.

With little to do on a dull day we happened into Lichfield Cathedral. It's a great building and the staff on duty were knowledgable and friendly. We learned a lot.

Lichfield's 5 spires are a sight to behold with the gem of course being the Cathedral, the true heart of the city. Privileged to have recently moved into this super friendly and outwardly upbeat place, historic landmarks adorn each street corner to make up its eclectic skyline merging new builds sympathetically and a city sure to be proud of.

what a brilliant show, so good, a real lead up to Christmas, lasts about twenty minutes, then into the Cathedral to see all the paper angels hanging from the roof along with Christmas trees lining the sides all designated to local charities, spent a good 50 minutes there....plenty to see...
