The panto was amazing. It had me and my children (all over 12) in absolute stitches. We especially loved Widow Twanky and Wishee Washee.

We took our granddaughters to see Aladdin and we definitely weren’t disappointed! From the start the show was amazing. The cast were fantastic and really put their hearts into their performances. It was a wonderful evening of fun and laughter and the girls were hoarse from shouting when it ended. Roll on next year! Thank you guys.

We have seen the last 6 out of 7 Christmas Pantos at the Garrick and this was one of the best if not THE best. Great energy, fab gag ratio, superb slapstick, great voices and dancing. The new Dame of the last 2 years is a very worthy successor and this year the thespian villain was hilarious. Aladdin had a superb voice as did the spirit of the ring and the genie of the lamp was energy, energy, energy!!! Great special effects, pyrotechnics and wire work and they let you photograph the end. So rare for pantomimes. In brief we wont go to the Birmingham Hippodrome panto again. Why bother? When Lichfield is year in year out so much better.

Fantastic evenings entertainment for four grown adults and the kids I the audience seemed to appreciate it in bucket loads too!
We found ourselves there as invited guests, there was a palpable air of expectation as we arrived to collect our tickets from the box office. The venue is bright and welcoming and seems to be accessible by all with a lift from the street side entrance level.
Taking our seats and "wham bam thank you man" the performance started. High energy and great laughs throughout with many corny gags thrown in for good measure. The cast seemed to be enjoying the experience just as much as the audience. A definite add to next years (2018) pre Christmas things to do. Did I really say that, bar humbug.

Been coming here for the last 5yrs..... next year's was booked after last night's show. Absolutely fantastic performance AGAIN.

These guys do brilliantly year in year out and we always have so much fun. Also think my boys liked it that it wasn't all about a princess this time and a boys was the main character.

Would really recommend if there's any seats left. Or book early for next year.

Another year of highly amusing entertainment. Fun for everyone with jokes and gags that are amusing whatever your age. We’ve been going for >12 years and although the cast has recently changed the tradition is still loved by us all.

I attended the opening night of Aladdin on 30 November at the Garrick theatre, Lichfield. An absolutely outstanding performance by all involved in this season's panto at the Garrick. So professional with exquisitely designed costumes, artistically elaborate staging, a gorgeous elephant and a big big mummy. And, tailored to a family audience like a panto should be. Highly recommended!

The Garrick theatre is a lovely experience, easy to get, parking close by. Really nice and friendly staff. My wife and I went to see musical version of Scrooge a stunning performance put on by the West Bromwich youth group first class evening out.

They have a full programme of events, you can book online and even choose your seats on line.

Well done the Garrick, we will certainly be back for more shows, Tony & Pat

An intimate theatre. Six boxes and a balcony. Two bars with a small food choice. Always plenty of shows on stage at this theatre. One lift.

Visited The Garrick with my husband to see That's Life - The Frank Sinatra Story. The artist who played the role of Sinatra was extremely talented and entertaining. It was very interesting how the story was told and he sang many of his popular songs and a few we had never heard before. Also the backing band were excellent. It was a very enjoyable evening. The theatre is quite small and intimate, so wherever you are seated you will have a good view, we chose to sit at the back of the stalls, even though when we booked quite a while ago there was plenty of seats to choose from.

Been to the Garrick a few times and have always enjoyed our visits . Positioned in the centre of Lichfield and ideally placed with multi parking nearly opposite , perfect! The staff are most welcoming ,friendly and just make the visit feel special whether you are visiting an Agatha Christie play, a visiting tour...such as Pasha from Strictly or Comedy all seem very well supported here each with a pleasing and enjoyable atmosphere . We love this little theatre very much .

Saturday night was my second visit in recent weeks to The Garrick Theatre.
On this occasion it was for the excellent show, A Vision Of Elvis. The whole experience was enjoyable. Greeted be a friendly member of staff at the door, then onto the bar area for a pre show pint. The bar was busy but not uncomfortable, their is an announcement that the show will soon be starting, giving ample time to find your seat in the theatre. We were sat on Row D, seats 21 and 22. Four rows from the front and with an excellent view of the act, and a clear and crisp sound system. 'Elvis' was superb, as were his backing singers and band. Stage time was approximately 2 hours, with a short break in the middle. This gives you time to head for refreshments, which you can pre-order before the show and saves you queuing during the interval. You can buy tickets online prior to all shows, and choose the seats in what you wish to sit. Look forward to returning to The Garrick in the near future, it's a little gem and would recommend to everyone and anyone.

This is a great place to see artists, whether it be a live music show or a more talk-orientated event. Very intimate, with very few seats - everyone can be sure of getting the most out of this experience. Well organised meet-and-greets and book signings afterwards. Well worth keeping an eye on, as it hosts such a wide variety of events.

A close friend invited me last minute to see Tallin at the Garrick because her son was unable to go. We had a brilliant night and my friend Patsy got to meet Tallin afterwards to get an autograph and t-shirt for her son and daughter in law.
You can order drinks from the bar for the intermission, which was great.
I would highly recommend this venue for a night out with friends or family,

Visiting from Guildford we have GLive, built about the same time as the Garrick but GLive is as much a basketball court as it is a theater. The Garrick is a a cozy gem of a theatre, full of character it enhances performances instead of removing any sense of occasion for the audience. We we lucky enough to see The Dreaming at the Garrick. A wonderful entertaining musical given a sense of place and performance by the theater itself.

Enjoyed a super evening last night being treated to a mesmerising performance of Howard Goodall's musical. Visually and artistically stunning, the friendly ambience of The Garrick made it a night to remember. A wonderful theatre with very helpful, enthusiastic staff. A sheer delight.

Chris is now a very old but well loved Jazz Musician and known by many for his small and compact Jazz Band.
His venture into Big Band, effectively doubling in size was exceptional and enjoyed by all, by comparison as all group played the old band basic as well. A very enjoyable evening binging back memories.i
