Unbelievably great place. The hard work and detail that has gone into the memorials is a wonderful reflection of the gratitude of a grateful Nation. We will never forget them.

What an evening the Illuminations were. So much thought had gone into the show not only to look good but also to reflect the fallen. While this place is standing they will never be forgotten. If your thinking of going stop thinking and just do it you won't be disappointed.

We went yesterday evening for the light display. It was fantastic. All have worked very hard to put on the best light display I have ever seen. The organisation was second to none and the maze, in particular was fantastic. In addition the hot chocolate with cream and marshmellows was very very welcome. All that and a gental reminder of what bravery and honor really are.

Visited the annual light show last night, totally brilliant ! ...The NMA should be very proud of their efforts...The staff were all so very helpful, especially the lady at The Bevan Boys memorial, the young lads on our group loved her little presentation on the canaries and mice ! ...Covid rules well in place....just one criticism that slightly spoilt the evening...The so called currywurst was awful..not a wurst at all but some cheap nasty sausages...at £6.50 a portion we spent over £25 which ended up in the bin !! ...otherwise keep up the great work at remembering so many.....Looking forward to 2021 RTTW ( hopefully ? )

A great place to spend a couple of hours light walking. Lots of monuments to see. Lots of paths and scenery. Currently due to covid you have to book online. Costs 4 quid per car. The restaurant is shut but you can get tea and snacks to take out. The gift shop is open and so is the toilets.

We The 22nd Rider can only say good things about all the staff at the Arbouretum. They have treated us so well in getting our plaques bought and placed in the N/ Ireland wood

Beautiful place, extremely well looked after. Takeaway coffees and cakes available during lockdown 2. Buggy friendly and the staff are amazing, they couldn't do enough to help me find the memorial I was looking for in memory of a late grandad. They took us there personally, it was like having a personal tour guide, he explained the history of events for the memorial and then left us to spend time there. They are continually adding new memorials and they are very nicely spaces out, so much to see that in 2 hours we probably only covered half if not less so we will be going back again. Its free to get in but parking is £4 per car and you have to book prior to your visit at the minute. We'll worth a visit. *****

A location in nature that takes you back to the old and difficult years.
Recommended for a walk in the green and the river...
Especially on sunny days. Entrance to the park is free but parking is not. You can park outside the memorial normally and legally.

The grounds are very well laid out are easily accessible, the main walls are full of the names of the fallen, which makes you think of what these people went through. I visit every year with the RTTW charity
