The site is dedicated as a memorial to honour the fallen and as such a reminder of the sacrifice made. The Arboretum is well managed, the design well thought out and the memorials themselves amazing. Such a fitting tribute.

The new buildings are a vast improvement on the previous one, with the main reception, shop & restaurant area having more space for visitors.
The prices in the restaurant tend to be a little higher than those available in other businesses in the surrounding area.
When visiting, you need to spend more than a couple of hours here to appreciate & see all the various memorials.

Beautiful, peaceful place offered chance for two brothers in their 80s to share their memories of National Service and their Sargent Major father in the Royal Artillery.

Being ex military I enjoyed seeing round this place, the guides are super and have a broad wealth of knowledge, plan to be there all day and even then you won't see it all, there is a nice cafe with a comprehensive menu and a nice gift / souvenir shop.
