This was very sombre, respectful and a very clever way of doing it. Little areas are allocated to specific regiments and corps therefore allowing for distribution of many visitors and showing gratitude to all those who have fought and fallen for this country.

What a fabulous memorial to the men and women of all the services who have paid the ultimate price. The grounds and memorials are immaculate. There are plenty of areas where you can sit in peace and quiet if you want to and there are picnic tables down by the river if you bring your own food although the food and drinks in the cafe are reasonably priced. The staff are knowledgable and helpful. We did the £6 per head train tour as it was our first visit and the guided commentary giving an insight into each memorial as you went past it was excellent. Well worth the money. We intend to return and do the guided walking tour next. This place should be on every schools curriculum. Thank you.

Absolutely fabulous, far bigger than I expected, lot of walking between the monuments but beautiful setting and lots of benches. Terrific cafe with delicious ice cream, a little pricey but it is free to get in.
