Such an amazing and evocative place. So may tributes to individual bodies, both in the armed forces and civilian services. Huge but there is a reasonably priced land train giving a 45 minute ride for those with mobility issues. Cafe reasonable too and spotless as are the loos. Very helpful guides. A truly memorable day out. Plenty of parking including blue badge.

Everyone should visit here at least once. What a beautiful, purpose built place to honour our dead. The atmosphere around the area is one of peace and tranquillity. A place of remembrance for the whole family to enjoy.

First time on the indicated dog walk, further than you think with short stretches of rough ground (for those less mobile). But a great walk along the riverside. Get use to looking at the backs of monuments though. Still recommended and don't forget your free dog walkers map!
