Beautiful and very peaceful. Free to enter. £6 for an adult (under 5's free) to go on the land train for 50 minute tour with a commentary which was very interesting

Always a very humbling experience. It's a beautifully calm place and we have visited many, many times. There are so many different memorials that each time we go we take different walking routes. There are also memorials for people not attached to the armed forces such as a children's memorial garden. There are plenty of benches along the paths if you need to take a break or to just sit and ponder. The volunteer guides are very knowledgeable and are more than happy to answer questions or simply to give more information. There are guided tours available and also a land train for those unable to walk very far. There is a cafeteria and also a gift shop with, amongst others, lots of items featuring poppies. There are often displays of art too. I highly recommend that everyone visit regardless of your age, race and beliefs. It's a very evocative experience.
