I wasn't expecting anything like what was there. It is an amazing area in memorial of all that have served. If you haven't been, you must go. Parking is £3 for the day. And it is a wonderful day out... rain or shine. All proceeds go to the royal British Legion.

This is a wonderful monument to those who have served in the Armed Forces. It is a must visit site so beautifully laid out and maintained to high standards. Commemorating the brave men and women who gave their lives for our freedom. It was interesting to see how many young children were there learning of our history and the sacrifice of so many. A £3 car park for all day is the only charge, a good pair of walking shoes are essential, although I did see a lady in a wheelchair who was able to access most if not all of the monuments. A truly moving experience well worth seeing. I urge you to go and spend some time at this National Memorial.

Fantastic place to visit if you are following a family story or just on a day out. We visited on 11/11/2018 and old soldiers were there remembering lost friends with tears in their eyes.
Every theatre of war is represented and the main buildings are full of information.
Proud that we could do this to give a central point of focus for all. Our history is there and its not a crime to temember and commemorate.
