As a veteran this was extremely poignant. It is a well laid site brought back many memories. This is somewhere everyone should visit. I am disabled and the amenities for the disabled were fantastic. Good parking and excellent knowledge from the volunteers. Thank you to all who made this such a memorable day. Hopefully I will be able to go again.

We had a fantastic day with a private buggy tour being the icing on the cake, making the visit so worthwhile. A big thank you to volunteer Mike Bryne who shared his knowledge of the memorials with us. We saw all those we were interested in; enjoyed lunch and the scenery. Well worth a visit

Such a thought provoking visit with my husband and 16 year-old son. Beautiful landscaping and lovely memorials. The restaurant has a nice choice of hot and cold foods and the separate cafe is perfect for takeaway drinks. Very well supported by volunteers and paid staff. Lovely experience would recommend as a destination to visit.

The place was a fantastic memorial to our servicemen that gave everything for our freedoms.
The breakfast however was undercooked especially the black pudding that still had lumps of fat and was still red

What an amazing place - somewhere that’s been on my list to visit for a while and stopped off on my way back from the Lake District- If you’re passing close by would highly recommend as a stop on the way - Very tranquil and some beautiful memorials to see

This place is absolutely beautiful, the grounds are breathtaking and the memorial wall is incredible. When we went there was a commonwealth games event on and there were lots of lovely activities for the kids (and adults) to take part in. We were there for the whole day and there were still bits we missed!

My only problem was parking and the staff. They sent us to carpark B despite there being lots of spaces in car park A free, it was £6 parking which it doesn't mention on the ticket prices. Obviously this is not expensive when you don't pay to enter but I think it should still be made clear on the website.
When we were sorting parking, a lady next to us wanted to get a map or something similar and was told that there was no specific cost is was a donation. When she passed over her £5 donation she was rudely told it was a suggested donation of more than that. I can't remember the exact amount now but I do remember being surprised at how rude the lady behind the desk was.

We would definitely go back, we need to try the stick man trail!

Short visit en route to see family. Great place £6 parking fee and free entry. Lots to see and take in, many many statues and tributes to all forces and services from Bevin Boys and Land Army Girls to a recognition statue for the poor unfortunate soldiers shot at dawn who were most probably suffering from PTSD and shell shock. All forces and Armies recognised and Cenotaph wall bears the names of over 16 thousand personell who lost their lives in battle, and obviously many hundreds of thousands who cannot fit on. Coffee shop, Restaurant and Gift shop all good, very pleasant and knowledgeable staff, wheelchair friendly and golf buggies available and a Dotti train with running commentary if you wish. Will definitely have to return when I have more time.

Restrooms: Toilet facilities in main building and portaloos around site

Picnic area: Plenty of benches to rest upon

What a place! An expertly thought through establishment. A beautifully maintained garden, expanding to 150 acres. For those who can't walk too far. There's mobility scooters for hire.
There's accompanied tours for those who can walk. There's a covered train and buggies as well.
A 45 minute train ride all around the fabulous gardens for £7 ... There's a food restaurant on site too.
All day parking for £6.
It's the best run place I've been to in years.

Absolutely fantastic place to visit. To see everything properly it takes about 3/3 1/2 hours but we'll worth it. The cafe is very good too, reasonably priced and lovely food.
