A must to visit. Free but pay for car park. Spotless and very helpful staff. Excellent café indoor and outdoor seating, not expensive and very good quality. Spotless toilet facilities. The land train is a must if you have not been to help you get your understand of the site.

Well signposted. Need to pre-book to avoid overcrowding, facilities include shop, cafe, chapel, toilets all accessible. Free but donation welcome. Large open site with many small memorials and plenty of education points, extensive formal and informal planting plus nature conservancy. Can be very emotional so take some tissues.

Such a lovely peaceful and reflective place to visit. The staff are friendly , helpful and very informative. We were fortunate to be able to sign the book of condolence for her late majesty Queen Elizabeth as well as see a lively fly past in her honour. The arboretum is worth a visit ❤

Took my Father who spent 22years in the Armed Forces. Was his first and probably last time. The Arboretum is a beautiful and fitting place to honour our fallen heroes.

Went here today to honour Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth. We were able to sign a book of condolence and lay our flowers, all very respectful and emotional. Had a walk around the beautiful grounds, and had a very tasty lunch. Highly recommended.

Amazing, brilliant, emotional, humbling, beautiful and sad all at the same time. Lots of space to walk around, ALL OF IT ACCESSIBLE, so many things and memorials to see. We had 6 hours and did so much but are sure there were still a couple of bits we missed.
Great toilets, coffee shop, restaurant and shop on site.
Grab a map to make your way around. It wasn't too busy mid week but there's so much space. Being a picnic if you want to sit and reflect by the river.
There is everything remembered from HMS Repulse, to the Wrens garden, Falklands, Twin Towers, Gurkhas. Sikhs, fire service, WW1 and 2, Land Army, and too much more to mention.
Just fantastic!

Playground: There are at least two playgrounds that we saw, all very good and well maintained

Restrooms: Very clean and wheelchair accessible

Dog-friendliness: Dogs allowed, on leads

Picnic area: Eat by the river or there are hundreds of benches or places to sit and picnic

This is a very special place for all who have served or are serving.
It was a privilege to lay some flowers at the ATS memorial in memory of our Queen (The boss)
Also to visit my late Husband's name on the wall.
Christopher Kenyon died aged 21.
Please send him good wishes on your visit.

Visited today with my mother-in-law who is in a wheelchair. Parking and accessibility all excellent. Landscaped to make it easy to negotiate. Restaurant staff couldn't have been more helpful - lots of choice of food. Thanks to all concerned.
