A fantastic place to remember and reflect. The stories that could be told of the brave people named on the wall of remembrance are endless. Take a buggy tour with one of the volunteers to find out much more about the many memorials. Our guide Trevor gave us much more information about the memorials than we would otherwise have known but he also knew when to lighten the atmosphere.

A place of beauty, tranquility, peace and thoughtfulness. Have visited a number of times and am always amazed, saddened, inspired and filled with amazement and wonder.
Even more surprised when you find out it is solely funded by donations.
To those who left a negative review what pompous arrogance you show.

Our first visit to remember a very special father who's life was the Royal Engineers. We have found a place where we can peacefully honour him and remember his life.

What an amazing place. Had a buggy tour with Carole who brought everything to life. Highly recommend visiting here - just allow longer than you think as it's vast! We'll be back to see more!

Very good accessible site, have wheelchairs and mobility scooters that can be booked in advance if you cannot provide your own.

Have a train tour with commentary, just under an hour that cover the key places.

Plenty of places to explore good Pathways as well as being able to wounder among the trees to visit memorials.

Allow time as so much to see.

They have a cafe and snack area at reception, but you can take your own picnic, plenty of places and benches to sit.
Toilet block at reception, there are a few portoloos elsewhere.

There is a chapel near reception.

Charity run, with tap and pay options to donate. Everyone was helpful.

Lovely visit.
Gallery exhibitions are very well done and informative. Lovely walks through the arboretum and there is a land train that goes around the facility for those less able. More than one visit necessary to really see everything.

Beautiful grounds with huge areas of managed nature. Many hidden memorials that require leaving the path to find and appreciate. Definitely worth planning ahead and listing areas or memorials you are interested in, as well as just wandering. I will definitely be returning with a list and some historical context of the memorials I wish to see.
