You have to visit to get a sense of the size and scope of the place, sensitive and helpful staff, separate building for groups to have meals, food was awesome, smaller cafe and shop good to use/browse, plenty of benches to rest or reflect, small transports to take visitors with disabilities to specific military era memorials

What a fabulous place, so much to see. Took my Dad who especially enjoyed seeing the memorials that were close to his heart.
The staff went out of their way to help us, especially Peter the buggy driver, a pleasant and knowledgeable man who gives up his own time for others. Thank You

A place that should be on everybody's list to visit. Difficult to put into word how I felt whilst walking through the memorials and seeing the names of people I knew in years past, but having finally made the journey I know that it was the right thing to do. The sacrifice made by the men and women whose names are etched into the stones will surely stay etched in our hearts, our minds and our lives.
The volunteers that run the Arboretum have the knowledge and the passion to keep the stories alive, and are a credit to humanity.

Try the acoustic wall on where the names of fallen soldiers are written, you will be surprised with the blend of art and science.

A beautiful, calming place where you can stroll around for hours discovering so many magnificent memorials to all types of services from the armed forces to circus performers. Recommended you don't stick to the paths, it's OK to walk on the grass, as there's so much to be seen all over.

Fascinating place to visit on a good day. Expert landscapers have reclaimed a former quarry and landfill to create a permanent memorial to the many branches of our armed services. Beautiful and peaceful walks alongside the River Teme and a well appointed visitor centre with a cafe and restaurant. A land train is available if preferred and there is a small children's play area. We were told it is advisable to book that did not seem necessary midweek in March.

Love going there for a walk but why you still have to book I don't know.

A lovely place. So peaceful and beautiful. Wonderful memorials to fallen army, RAF, navy, Ambulance workers, vets, Stillborn and Neonatal Deaths, and so, so much more. A great restaurant and gift shop. Well worth a visit. There's also a train ride, with commentary around all of the memorials.
