A Hidden Gem!
Fancied somewhere different for an meal and liked the reviews we had read. Exceeded expectations by a long way. The surroundings were perfect, a lovely balance between eating and dining.Hospitality was superb and the food outstanding. The attention to detail really made a difference. We had a Tomahawk steak which was cooked to perfection. You will have to go a long way to find better. We wish you well with you new venture not that you need it. Hope to be back soon with friends. Thank you.

We booked this stay randomly and were amazed with the room ambience and cleanliness. The owner is very nice and friendly. We stayed one night and next morning stayed after the breakfast which was included with stay. A very refreshing and healthy breakfast as per our choice. I would definitely recommend to stay here.

We had a lovely one night stay here. There was limited accomodation in the area because of Silverstone, but luck had it that we found this place. Its a great play to stay, the setting is a beautiful countryside village, the food was excellent and rooms were clean and tidy with everything needed. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. I would definately stay hear again.

Stayed here whilst visiting area for a wedding. The owners couldn’t have been more welcoming. Room comfortable, everything you needed with a comfy bed, nice clean fresh en-suite , enhanced with tea making facilities and water. Breakfast lovely, well cooked and delicious. We had lunch too equally as good. If we in the area again we would definitely stay again … a gem of a place

Great find
We particularly liked the food offering as it was not typical pub food. It was restaurant style food at reasonable prices. Steph, Neil and their team were very friendly and provided good service with all the best elements of pub, restaurant and hotel wrapped up in one great value package. Long may they prosper.

A step above the normal pub accommodations!
Very nice, spacious room and super comfy bed. Decor was tasteful and everything was well maintained and clean. Pleased with my booking and would stay there again.

Lovely place to stay!
The room was great with tea and coffee making facilities. It was big, clean and easily accessible. The village is really pretty and breakfast was fabulous. The staff are extremely friendly and we would definitely stay there again.

We visited The George on Saturday wit( my wife sister who lives in Medbourne niece and husband.The food was first class from an excellent starter to a superb main meal ,we had sirloin steak cooked to perfection, the wine and lager accompanied the food and was lovely .The service was also excellent.We will be returning when we visit my sister again .An absolutely lovely evening and credit to the Chef and staff for making it a brilliant night

Great local birthday vacation
The room was clean, beautifully decorated and spacious. Fantastic power shower. The hosts were friendly and made you feel that you were important and right at home. Lovely lad kept us supplied with G&T's and a cheerful friendly demeanour whilst we sat in the sun relaxing on hubby's birthday x We had the A La Carte menu for dinner and Wow it was delicious... Breakfast was also perfect, great continental assortment and hubby had a good old full English which he said was delicious. Felt very safe with all the Covid measures in place.. Our first stay away since it all began so very reassuring We would definitely recommend a stay here and we will be staying again for definate Thankyou both for a lovely birthday stay local vacation Michelle and Gary xx

A spontaneous decision to nip out for a quick lunch and found ourselves at The George, Ashley.
Really welcoming and nothing was too much trouble.We had a Pulled Pork ciabatta, a Bacon, cheese and grape Panini and a huge bowl of chips to share with a couple of beer shandys, perfect.
