On Sunday 24th February we took some friends to the Kingfisher Inn for Sunday Lunch. It was fabulous. David’s Sunday lunches are getting the reputation as one of the best Sunday Lunches around. You have a good choice of starters, this Sunday we had the choice of Lamb, Beef and Pork. I had the beef which was moist and tasted just divine. The gravy, which is so tasty, just compliments the food that is cooked. My son never has gravy at home. The only place that he has gravy is at The Kingfisher. Then you have the desserts. My daughter always goes for something chocolaty; she had the chocolate moose while my son who hardly ever has a dessert always finds room for one at the Kingfisher. If you have never been to the Kingfisher Inn then you must. The facilities at Aberdulais Golf Range are excellent. As a half decent golfer myself there is never enough room or time to hit balls at many local clubs. The range at Aberdulais is great. You can hit loads of balls. You donʼt even have to put the ball on the tee. It does it for you. Try hitting the ball out of the range. It is a massive carry. Great way to spend half an hour or so for all golfers.

Ray made my mother-in-laws 70th birthday. He captured her 6 grandchildren in a delightful photograph. We were so impressed with Rayʼs work that we had a sitting for a venture style photograph. It is excellent and in prime position above our fireplace. Thanks Ray it looks great.

Fine dining at its best. The quality of food that David cooks and presents is just mouth watering. We used to go to the established restaurants down Mumbles but when we discovered The Kingfisher we would rather go there. The quality of food is exceptional and set in a picturesque rural setting. The restaurant is very unique just like having a meal in your own house. Elspeth, Davidʼs wife is the perfect front of house person. She creates the atmosphere of the restaurant and caters to you every need. A must if you have never tried.

Clinton is an award winning master butcher. When you sample his range of meat products you will understand why. His meat is of the highest quality and at great competitive prices. Since going to Clinton over a year ago I buy all my meat products from him. His Welsh Black melts in your mouth and when asked for a joint on Sunday he will give you the best advice on how to cook it. Clinton is truly and an award winning master butcher. Also when you pop into the shop you are greeted with a smile and they will give you the time of day to sort out all your needs. We all need to support our quality local traders and Clinton is one of them.

Alan first did some work at my house through a recommendation with Bambridge Lofts. He wired the whole of the loft including sockets, lights, shower and electricity for a utility room. He changed the mains switch box and was professional, clean and tidy. He wired the alarm on all three floors and produced the certificate to authenticate all of his work carried out at the property. At a later date he wired the garden to have outside lights and when the house was being re-plastered we found a live wire embedded in one of the walls. Alan came out to fix that problem straight away. I would recommend Alan to carry out any electrical work and your house.

Tim at Arnottʼs Valeting Services gave both of my cars an exceptional clean. They both looked immaculate inside and out. The only thing I had to do was make sure Tim had a mug of tee before he started. He brings all his equipment and water with him in his van. He allows you the time to spend on other things and he gets the car looking great.
