Tessa gives the most amazing massages! I fully recommend the full body massage as this is great to relieve the day to day stresses that build up over time. It is the most relaxing experience which puts you in a great place of peace and tranquility. It is a lovely treat and Tessa is lovely too.

If your muscles are feeling knotted and sore or if you keep getting back pain, I would recommend a massage with Tessa. She will give you a firm massage but at the same time it is relaxing. She is a very friendly, helpful and kind person.

Tessa provides a wonderful massage which is second to none in my experience. She is an excellent masseur but more than that she helps the spirit and soul. It is a delight and pleasure to recomend Tessa - as long as she does not become too popular and I can't get in for an appointment! As she is so accommodating and flexible, I doubt this would ever happen.

I was recommended by a trusted friend to try Tessa's massage at In Good Hands, my having had a big double spinal fusion operation recently and being in quite a bit of pain still. I can only say that Tessa's massage was extraordinary, quite extraordinary! I have never had a massage like this, for its depth and knowledge of the body, despite my obvious trepidation of being touched around my scar areas and back. Tessa also does luxurious things to your head and face, which had me up on a fluffy pink cloud :-) I really was left feeling quite moved by it all. On top of that, Tessa has the most wonderfully heavy towels and heated blankets, so I felt all cocooned and gorgeous too! I cannot recommend this massage from Tessa of In Good Hands highly enough. Oh, and she plays great music too, none of that whale song, pan pipes rubbish...:-) M x

Quite simply, Tessa Kirk is the best masseuse I have ever encountered. When I lived in Shrewsbury, I would arrive for a session, feeling exhausted and low energy. After an hour of exquisite massage with Tessa, she performed a complete transformation! My body felt energized, toned and alive. You are able to choose your music, burn a candle you particularly like and just let Tessa take over! From the moment you feel Tessa's hands begin to work with your body, you know you are in very safe and expert hands. I cannot recommend this treatment more strongly. Tessa Kirk has a tremendous gift for body work and I used to consider my hourly massage essential to my well-being and helped me to renew my energy for a very challenging job. Tessa is one of the most passionate masseurs I've ever met. She throws her heart and soul into the massages, and gives you appropriate advice on diet, fitness, and treats people holistically. She is flexible in her hours and will always make you feel she has gone the extra mile. You come out wanting to buy one for all your friends and family - and indeed I have for a few! She had been recommended to me by 3 separate people before Ii went, and I wasn't disappointed one bit. I play a lot of sport and my body always tightens up. Tessa helps me to relax my body and my mind which I didn't think that I could do! She has helped me to rehabilitate many injuries such as my back and my ankle and I am hugely grateful for the help she has given me. I can't recommend Tessa enough. I went to her with a bad pain in my neck, left over from a car accident . After my treatment I had the best night's sleep I'd had for a long time. Apart from that, it was also an incredibly relaxing experience. Tessa is a great masseuse, and made me feel relaxed and comfortable from the start of my treatment. Being a teacher of holistic therapies, including massage, and also having a very demanding job, I truly value my sessions with Tessa. From the moment I lie on the warmed couch to the minute I leave, I feel completely safe and relaxed. Tessa is professional and I cannot recommend her highly enough. A deep tissue massage is a really amazing experience and I have had many massages over the years but once I found Tessa, I have not gone anywhere else. She knows her craft and practices it well. Deep tissue massage is not a gentle fluffy massage, it is meant to stimulate and relax your muscles and it does, especially the way Tessa does this. I thoroughly recommend her and totally trust her. She is one the best I have ever experienced.

Whilst visiting Shrewsbury recently, on a trip from the US, my back - which had been playing up - finally went out, and I was having real trouble moving around. My friend recommended a trip to Tessa Kirk's 'In Good Hands' massage service. It took a couple of sessions but by the time I left Shrewsbury, I was walking straight and pain-free! She was marvellous! It's a shame we live in different countries, otherwise I would be a regular visitor on her table!

She really connects with and understands your needs, producing amazing results. I am very athletic and have been doing sports my whole life and Tessa has always been on my speed dial ever since my first massage.
