I have been seeing Tessa regularly for just over a year for a full body massage and she is FAB! She works intuitively and always seems to know exactly where to concentrate her efforts. If you want a great massage - go see Tessa. I work at Dogs Trust, which is a very physical job and I get aches and pains from this. Tessa keeps me in tip top condition with my monthly massage. When she was in America for 3 months I noticed a massive difference in my physical well being and had more back pain and an old injury in my heel flared up. I'm so glad she is back. After suffering with stress related throat problems and lower back pain for around 6 months I booked a full body massage with Tessa.
This was my first ever massage and I was apprehensive about what to expect, but Tessa soon put me at ease with an introductory chat to find out what my issues were. She even went the extra mile to make the room cooler so that my throat wouldn't be too uncomfortable.
I found the whole experience very relaxing and rejuvenating and will definitely be going back for further work on my shoulders, back and neck.

I just completed 8 mile cross country run. I wanted a massage pronto and got one with Tessa Kirk. I was in good hands - they massaged my whole body with fantastic effect. I've been having massage for the last 20 years and I can honestly say that Tessa is the best. Her experience allows her to find the tense spots and she works on them as needed. I live in Italy and come to Shrewsbury to visit family. I discovered Tessa through 'thebestof' and decided to book a number of massages with her. I was very impressed. As a massage therapist who has had many, many massages in the UK and abroad I would say that Tessa Kirk has given me some of the best treatments I have had anywhere. She uses an excellent variety of pressure and many different techniques which mark her out from many other therapists. After having a stressful week at work, what better way to start the weekend than with a massage. Tessa gives what in my opinion is the best massage I have ever had; the effects are also cumulative so the more I have gone the better I feel. She has the knack of knowing what part of the body is giving the problem and working on it, headache or that 'just started at the gym' ache Tessa has sorted the lot out for me. I cannot recommend her strongly enough.

Tessa is the best masseur I have had over many years of looking, wherever I have lived. I found her 3 years ago and have been going once a month since then because I love it. Each time her hands find the tightness and she will work as deeply as I like (which for me is deep). She responds to each client's needs as my teenage daughter found out when she went - she likes lighter massage than I do. Highly recommended!

Having had my first massage with Tessa yesterday, I can honestly say it was fantastic! I have had a back problem for some time and my physiotherapist recommended Tessa to me. Her massage targeted my problem area and so far has helped relieve the pain that I was feeling. I had my very first message with Tessa on Saturday and found the experience so relaxing and benefical I will definitely be going back. I was initally concerned when I was given the booking as a Christmas present because of being an older client but Tessa was so professional and friendly I was immediately put at ease.
