My experience was good.
I had noisy brakes. I booked it and tackwood (Robbie) explained the problem and corrected the issue. They could have told me anything and charged more but they just repaired my issue and charged accordingly.

Recently had my MOT at Tackwood and as usual they were great. The pleasant, lighthearted way you are dealt with as a customer is refreshing. You actually deal with people and not AI which to most people is the ability to have confidence in the staff and not take pot luck with a computer . Keep up the good work guys. Professional all the way.

Excellent customer service from the team at Tackwood. Service carried out and completed exactly when they said it would be. Darren did a first class job, not just explaining but actually showing me on the car where an amber flag had appeared on the service report. I travel 9 miles for this company. They are honest, helpful, friendly and professional. As a lone parent with kids starting to drive. I now make sure all my families cars are taken care of by Tackwoods. I've never felt taken advantage of in the 14 years I've been coming, and that can be worry for a single woman. Prices are reasonable and communication excellent. Darren is very kind, and the team are a family, you can feel the love! Be sure to book in advance when you can, as they get busy!

I couldn’t be happier with the service at Tackwood! Robbie managed to fit me in the same day for a lightbulb change, even though they were clearly busy, which I really appreciated. I ended up booking more work, and Darren took the time to explain everything thoroughly and helped me find more affordable options. I booked my MOT well in advance. Tackwood helpfully reminded me more than once that it was coming up. The MOT itself was carried out efficiently, and the car was ready by early afternoon. Both members of staff that I met were very good to deal with.

My wife and I have been using Tackwood for years now, our most recent experience in November 24 was for a MOT which subsequently failed due to an issue I was aware of when it went in.
The team at Tackwood were great and managed to get the car turned around in just two days, well ahead of the time I was expecting.
