Just sent van in again for mot and service and as usual they got it back to me by the end of day which is a huge bonus as time off road is money down the drain for business, honestly wouldn't bother going anywhere else.

As a woman, it is hard to find a mechanic that doesnt want to overcharge or sell you work that isnt required but in Tackwoods I feel i have found an honest business who are friendly and always try to fit you in when you have a problem.

Their prices are fair, every bill is itemised to show labour and parts so you know they are not trying to rip you off.

I have never had a bad experience with them so I think they are a company worth 'love'.

I recently took my car for MOT to Tackwood and I was greeted warmly (on a cold day) by the reception staff. The test was carried out quickly and I was informed it had passed straight away. There was an additional minor problem which they sorted without me having to ask. All in all a good experience from pleasant, helpful staff.

Due to all the positive Testimonials on this site I booked my car in for MOT today at Tackwood Service Centre. While waiting in the reception area I picked up a leaflet giving some information on the Company. The mission statement stated “it is the goal of our Company to have 100% customer satisfaction in regards to quality, friendliness, time to completion and to discover new ways to exceed the expectations of our customers to ensure repeat custom and word of mouth advertising”
I can honestly state that the mission statement is a very true reflection of Tackwood Service Centre. I have no hesitation in recommending them on this site and by word of mouth.
