Avoid, avoid, avoid. Acted as executor to my late mother. Complaint to the ombudsman for over charging and incorrectly calculating fees was upheld and remedy of £10,443.64 awarded. Took them 9 months to pay it. Settled my mothers estate 4 years ago and retained part of the estate. Ignored all of my requests to have it returned. Only after involvement of police and SRA was it finally returned. Very stressful. I have documentary evidence that backs up everything I have said.
