I discovered Pickfords as a local solicitor based off the results on google reviews themselves after having a bad experience when I bought my apartment years before.
Buying and selling is such a stressful, frustrating and unpredictable experience so being able to depend on Pickfords was one thing I didn’t have to stress about. Rachel has been there throughout my apartment sale falling through and picking it back up when I got a new buyer. Being able to feel as though your solicitor is approachable, contactable and speaks to you in plain English made the process easier. When I’d found somewhere to buy Pickfords we’re happy to take me on as a client again. This process again was a good experience with Pickfords, Rachel was always accessible to answer our questions in a friendly manner.
Near the final days of my purchase completion, Mohammed encountered an issue and solved it efficiently. I fully appreciate that he only informed me when necessary to avoid additional stress for me during a time that’s stressful enough.
Fully recommend Pickfords to anyone. I don’t plan on moving again anytime soon! But if I did, I wouldn’t even consider who I’d want to use again!

Don’t under estimate the importance of choosing the right solicitor when buying or selling your house.
Having used numerous other solicitors previously, whom were okay but was constantly waiting for responses and information, I decided to use Pickford, I wouldn’t use any other firm again.
Communication is A1. Email replies and telephones answered with a direct number, (another huge plus point) beyond all my expectations, and believe me, mine are high.
Sound advice at all times, ensuring most importantly you are protected, especially where the buzz of buying that dream home can cloud important decisions.
Personality by the bucket load!! Now I can imagine, that having to deal with lots of clients of what is probably the most stressful process through the rollercoaster process of highs and lows, (or maybe that was just me) could be draining. Well it must be, because all my other previous solicitors lacked personality. This is the difference between being a “file” and a “customer” and Rachel and Natalie were brilliant.
Finally let’s talk price. If you focus on the lowest price when choosing a solicitor, expect a poor experience. However, Pickford Solicitors pricing was really competitive, and any saving which would have been minimal with an online conveyancer, would have been the single worst investment.
So, in summary, just choose Pickford Solicitors for your next house purchase or sale, you won’t regret it. Natalie and Rachel you are a credit to the company.

I was with my previous legal firm since 2005. My solicitor retired couple of years back, and standard of service went downhill. I moved from them to Pickfords last year. The service I have had in buying and selling my properties is commendable. Rachel MacDonald has helped me to complete sale of my house recently and has been very professional and was always available to communicate and to update me of the progress. If standard of service stays the same my business will stay with them for years to come.
