S D Luke fitted the soffits and guttering at my previous house 15 years ago and at my new house 2 weeks ago (Sept 17), their workmanship was then and still is first class. Spencer's quote was competitive both for a full removal and UPVC replacement and for the cheaper covering of the old , he explained both systems, but left the choice entirely up to me and pushed neither. I went for the full fit. Spence and Ash put in a good days work explained everything as they went along. When they uncovered an unforeseen problem they showed me what it was and again explained the alternatives and additional costs (which were very reasonable and fully understandable) but again left the choices to me - pressure salesmen they are not.
