As far as Aldridge goes this is a very pleasant change from the overwhelming amount of Indian restaurants in situ. My fiancé and I eat there regularly as it IS fantastic value for money, £13.95 for the best medium rare filet steak with a fantastic dolcelatta sauce inc veg. It's not perfect, but the welcome is warm, especially on your second visit, as the management and staff WILL remember you. 4* for price, quality, service, et al

I organised a meal at this restaurant for 23 of us as our Ladies Christmas Meal. This place never ceases to amaze me, they also had other large parties in, the food was excellent the service was next to none. Thank you Da Vinci was making it a lovely night.

This is a great place to eat for adults and children alike. As a family we've eaten here both evenings and lunch times and have never had a bad meal. The food is not just your basic Italian pizza and pasta as most view Italian restaurants but much more. The Sunday 3 course special is great value and a great meal as are their other special menu's. Give the place a go you won't be disappointed.

Me and my partner adore this place. The value for money is outstanding, we go and have a 2 course meal for under a tenner each. Every meal is provided with lovely warm bread and dipping oils as an appetizer whilst you select your real starter and main so you actually get 3 courses if you think about it. I usually go for the prawn salad which is a really generous portion and comes really well presented. And for the main spaghetti and meatballs which I highly recommend. The staff are all friendly and the food always comes out quickly. A really high standard of restaurants.

I eat here regularly and I have never been disappointed. Great value for money on week nights and Sunday on special menus. Can't wait for my next meal here. Only drawback is the stairs so it is not a suitable venue for anyone with mobility problems as there is no lift so I can't take 2 of my friends here to sample the lovely food when we have our regular Friday lunch

There's a rumour going round Aldridge that this place was only set up as the council refused to give permission for another Indian restaurant... Authentic Italian cuisine it is not...
Still the food was edible, staff are friendly and you at least see the chefs spinning pizza dough in the open kitchen, which is a nice touch. It really is nothing special, though, and the size of the portions on the Sunday set menu aren't exactly great value for money considering, but it ultimately does the job. I think it's the kind of place where you'd have a few drinks, a chat but not pay too much attention to the food, which is a bit of a poor show considering it's a restaurant.
Birmingham is still the realistic close option if you fancy a good Italian though...

We visited on a Saturday evening and it was very busy. The welcome was good and the initial service was excellent but long delay with main course and under cooked meat led to a complaint to the manager. He had an excuse for each point we mentioned and offered no apology. He did knock a small amount off the bill but an apology and acknowledgement of mistake would have been more acceptable. Will not be returning, shame as the food was reasonably priced and quite nice.

Visited on a Thursday night went for the mid weekset menu after hearing very good things about the restaurant. The visit was lovely, very attentive staff, nice simple Italian style dishes and a bottle of red included in the set menu. Travelled well out of town to visit an well worth it with excellent value for money.

We have been to Da Vinci's four times, birthday, night out, with friends and called in at lunchtime for a snack. Each time we have had a great choice of menu. the food was served quickly and was piping hot. The staff made us feel special and each occasion we enjoyed our meals.

I have been to Da Vinci's about 10 times and each time I have been very pleased with my experience. Although it is described as an Italian restaurant I would not call it as authentic Italian cuisine. However, the quality of the food is wholesome and the choice is good.
There are a number of special menu options and I have first hand experience of the weekday lunchtime and evening selections. The choice on both is limited but there is enough variety to please most diners. The lunchtime 2 course menu includes an excellent prawn salad as a starter and a very generous Caesar salad. The meatballs as a starter is a more generous option than the main course. This costs £6.95.
The evening special has 3 courses and includes a bottle of wine between 2 people (it used to be 1 per person!) for £15.95. The dessert choice is fair and would appear to be predominantly previously frozen. Both are preceeded by complimentary bread and oil and balsamic vinegar. The waiting staff comprises a group of very pleasant and helpful individuals.
I would wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant for good value and friendly and efficient service.

After reading reviews on here we decided to give it a shot as we were stopping locally, glad we did as it was an excellent Italian, great open plan resturant with lots of room and big chunky tables to sit at
Only downside was service was a little slow in between courses, but staff were very polite, would definetly go again.

Went on a Sunday evening for a family celebration. Was pleased to find out there was a very good offer on - £10 for a 4 course meal.
Food was excellent, particularly the starters and main. The calzone with bolognese sauce was the best I've had for a long time. The desserts were a bit of a disappointment but will definitely be visiting again.

Well what can we say, the service is first class and the staff are very attentive and very friendly.
The food is always cooked fresh and nothing is too much trouble for the chef! We always leave this lovely restaurant with full tummies and a smile on our faces, looking forward to our next visit.

Family of 5 adults went to Da Vincis for a birthday treat, all was very satisfactory, the food was good, we all had different meals, 2 of us had the midweek 3 course special including a bottle of wine, no problem with the service we had 3 different people attending to us and thats where the problem came from, when we asked for the bill no one seemed to know what we had ordered so they seemed to make it up. When the bill came it included 2 main meals from the 3 course special in addition an extra £24, they didnt argue but if you go check you bill carefully. A shame really because the food is good and plenty of atmosphere, lots of people in for a Tuesday evening.
