Nice place... bit expensive compared to other cinemas in my area.. you have to pay for parking... plenty of food places around if you want to make a night of it ... easy to find... seating was ok... not the most comfortable in my opinion but it was ok .. it was really warm inside the screening... again food/ drinks were a bit more expensive than other local venues...

Had a great trip to the light cinema yesterday, my friend and I took her daughter to see Frozen 2. The gentleman that served us was super friendly and very helpful, Josh. He helped by giving me the meal deal options when I couldn’t make up my mind and made my friends daughters day by giving her some frozen stickers, really makes a difference when staff members are friendly! The cinema was clean and comfortable, will definitely be visiting again!

Visited to spend some family time with our 15 year old son to watch a 15 rated film , went to concession stand to purchase tickets, where my 6ft 2" son got asked his age , as 15 year olds don't have I.d and we don't carry passports about we questioned why the person serving refused with no actual reason we asked to speak to the manager who said although it was to his discretion and our son looked his aged he still refused us entry. Having paid parking we left , Even though our son has visited a number of times with his friends and us and never been questioned. Disgusted and unhappy. I also think as a child is with their parents it should be the parents choice

We visited The Light on a Wednesday evening it was our first visit and we were impressed it is a comfortable and modern cinema. We watched The Joker which was fantastic and we look forward to returning to watch another film soon.

So pleased to discover this little gem. Easy to get to in Walsall. Special ticket reductions for screenings before noon. Bar coffee and food available. Friendly efficient staff. Comfy seats. My go to cinema from now on.

It was very clean and all the staff were friendly and helpful. The seats were so comfortable it was lovely to sit and not be uncomfortable. My only complaint was I had a large popcorn and drink which is never cheap! But my popcorn wasn’t very nice it was stale and was mainly all the bits so I wasn’t very impressed especially for the price.

Went to see the film Downton Abbey on the afternoon at 2.35p.m. there were only five of us in the cinema so almost a personal showing. This is a lovely cinema and should be used more. Only draw back is having to pay car parking charge.

Second time of visiting, and as I don’t frequent cinemas that often am always looking for a comfortable cinema. This 8 screen theatre just North of Walsall centre and only 7mins walk from the station fits the bill admirably, with escalators or lift to get to the first floor where all the screen “rooms” are. Very comfortable seats and not at all overpriced. After the performance there is an abundance for eating “houses” from pubs and cafes to large chain restaurants all within 5 mins walk.
The cinema itself is situated adjacent to the Walsall Canal so several pubs etc are to be found near the canal basins. Parking right outside is provided courtesy of Europarks, so beware to get a ticket to cover the film and any eating time! Fines are £100!! There is Council Parking about 5mins away, which is a lot cheaper. Buses going along Wolverhampton Street stop right by the cinema. Photo is Walsall Canal.

Love this cinema. Friendly staff, great prices, comfy seats, nice and clean, wine glass holders in the seats and a bar that will allow drinks to be taken to watch the film. Restaurants aplenty outside, canalside setting, on the doorstep car park (chargeable). Everything you need in one place for a lovely evening out.

Its a real treat to have The Light in our town. This is a really comfy cinema. The staff are always very nice. From my house, its a walkable distance, unlike the Showcase, which always meant getting there and back by transport. The Infinity card is a good idea, and great value for film fans. The bar is a nice place to sit, before or after a film .They show blockbuster films and also some unusual films too.l cant say what the snacks are like, as l dont eat in the cinema, and dont understand why adults cant seem to spend a couple of hours in the cinema without having to keep eating. Kids are different, films and sweet treats go together. All in all, its a great place to go, and l really love watching my favourite films there.

This cinema is so lovely to go too. As a family, we can choose our seats online, know that there are booster seats to use for the kids if they want them and the staff are always so friendly and welcoming. The only cinema we go to now!

Easy to book online, even with a CEA card. Easy to print tickets at home, easy all round and very comfortable seats. The man introducing the film and safety etc is also very polite and a nice touch.

Been here a few times to take advantage of their £5 morning screenings..
It's always been clean in there, and the sound and screen quality are pretty good.
The only thing that lets it down are the high prices of the refreshments, but that's the same everywhere these days...
