Right, so you expect a cinema visit to filled with trials and tribulations, from chewing gum in your hair, to random unknown substances in your popcorn.... well not this one, only a couple of minors.... but let’s do the good stuff first;
The arrival, easy to book with the touchscreen monitors, select the film, then who’s watching, and then where you would like to sit, then pay, simples!!
The cinema is large, airy and fully air conditioned, so very comfortable.
The seating is arranged A at the front, to Z (or whichever) right at the back, and each level is identified by the notation on the steps as you go up, very useful, no squabbling over rows and such.
The seats.... OMG unbelievably comfortable and roomy, never known a cinema seat to be comfortable at all let alone nice to sit on.
A porter, despite his largest effort to reach beyond the soundtrack of the pre-adverts, he didn’t quite make it, but we got the gist of it, we had a 10 minute warning that the film was starting, nice touch, saves people getting bored because of too many previews.
Sound was an acceptable level, screen size was perfect, I wasn’t chasing my eyeballs just to catch what was happening next.
The room was dark enough to enjoy the film, and the lit up steps allowed for mid-film water-closet visit without breaking ones ankle in the process.
Oh, yes.... the FACILITIES.... upstairs ones were clean and accessible, but not a single one had soap (ladies) in the pumps. Downstairs.... well, might I suggest that before you consider jumping around because you are bostin’ for a wee, get your tickets and nibbles first. There are two, yes 2! A disabled and a neutral. We (me, my daughter, and mother in law) piled into the disabled one, which was minging by the way, and had to battle to get out the toilet paper, upon finding that after all three had had a wee, the flush did not work, and after a closer inspection (because I like to try and be self-sufficient and helpful too) removed the lid to find that the entire cistern works had broken, plastic floaties were not my idea of a working facility. And....and.... the tap couldn’t be turned off. 😒
So, despite dire downstairs facilities, we really did enjoy our visit. Might bring hand sanitizer next time though.

Lovely intimate setting, very reasonable prices compared to competitive cinemas, and the adjoining bar, The Green Room is fabulous! Stacey with the purple pigtails is absolutely exemplory with her job and goes above and beyond for her customers! Stacey's customer service is not easily found in Walsall! Love it and will return!

Visit the bar before the film and you might be lucky enough to be served by Stacey! Big smile, pleased to see you and treats you like an old friend! Better if you like sarcasm, the girl must sleep in the knife drawer!

The staff always are friendly and approachable, prices are in keeping with the good standard of the screens, seats etc. Endgame was obviously a busy screen that could have been a little cleaner (seats wise) but other than that we are always happy to go to The light to see our movies.

There's tons of parking, but don't forget to pay - we've been caught out by forgetting a couple of times on a Sunday and got fined. The cinema is fairly new, and the auditoriums are very comfortable with plenty of leg-room and a drinks holder. You can bring alcoholic drinks up from the bar downstairs, but make sure you've got enough to last through the film because it's a long way back down, via escalators. The same goes for getting any drinks and food - get it all at the beginning. The staff are all really friendly. The only downside is that the ticket area is fairly small, so if you've got to pick up tickets or buy them there, it can get busy. There are, however, machines where you can get tickets if you can pay by card which will save you some time. Overall, a great experience!

First time visiting this cinema over the Easter half term taking my friends daughter to see Dumbo. Easy parking with plenty of places to eat but best of all a ice-cream/pancake place..Cinema was clean and welcoming with again places to eat/purchase snack & drinks. Comfortable seating.

What I liked most of all was a member of staff coming in to tell someone to turn off their mobile. so everyone was quite with no interruptions during the film.

Only downside was having to pay for parking and had to leave cinema half way through to add more parking as film was longer than I thought. I think it should be free parking.

I come to this cinema as it is most certainly the best one around. The seats are really comfy, the screen and sound is perfect and the entire experience is great as a whole. The only downfall is the price of food and drink but that is expected in every cinema. As well, there are far too many advertisements shown beforehand which pushes the film back making it 25-30 minutes late starting each time. It is still an amazing experience though and I would recommend it to families, couples and even with friends.

A visit to the Light cinema Walsall, which is part of the canalside development. Parking close to the cinema is limited but normally plenty of space on the retail park opposite.(both pay and display) After the cinema there are several restaurants and bars close by,

Having visited manyt times I find the seating excellent at this venue large seats with holders for drinks and the depth between each row means that the person in front head is not in the way..Friendly staff also easy booking online or at the venue special features for people who like musicals opera etc and finally reasonable ticket prices

Visit this cinema regularly and just have to say how great the staff are. Always friendly and clearly love their job so they must have a great supportive manager too! Seats are comfortable and spacious and the cinema is always clean.

Excellent cinema, seats are very comfortable. There is a bar available downstairs and you can take your drinks into the cinema with you. Plenty of nearby places to eat. Car park is a little expensive so it does add to the cost of a night out.

We went to the cinema today to see (how to train your dragon) with our four grandchildren. aged from 7 to 12 years of age. The cinema is located in a central location and is surrounded by a great choice of restaurants to suit all tastes. The movie started a little late (after all of the usual adverts) There was a bit of a queue at the snack bar. The seats were superb and really comfortable.

I don't go to the cinema very often as it's usually been a disappointment with uncomfortable seating and dirty surroundings. This cinema is lovely, the large, armchair style seats, fresh surroundings, great screen and fantastic sound. It was so easy to go online, book your seat, pay and print off your ticket. Impressive and I will be back. It's an added bonus that there are lots of places to eat nearby which are very well priced.
