At last we have a decent cinema in Walsall town centre. We have needed this for a long time. The place itself is amazing. Wonderful comfortable seats. Arranged in tiers so that no head is blocking your view. There is a bar downstairs so you can have a drink beforehand or take them to your seats...which have glass holders . It's a good experience and it's not expensive.

Watched secret life of pets with 6 of us and cinema great, seats comfortable, cheaper than other cinemas but only prob is most seats had been reserved on line so my friends turned away even though empty seats throughout the film, also we had meerkat movie vouchers which you can only redeem at food outlets so by the time we got through the queues, only 6 seats in a row left even though we was 30 mins early, will def prebooked nxt time

Visited on a Sunday afternoon.
Purchased our tickets prior to going for food, avoided queues before the movie and also allowed us to have the pick of the seats. You can select your seat when you book your tickets.
Screens were clean and modern. Booster cushions available for the younger guests.
What impressed me the most was the prices. The tickets were far cheaper than bigger cinema brands. Also the refreshments were reasonably priced too. Plus we purchased a large popcorn which we could refill for free during the movie or on the way out.
We'll be back!

First visit, great cinema inside with great seats and screens. Didn't buy anything inside but everything looked great and for £5 a ticket a bargain!

Went with family and took small children to watch a Film. Customer service was friendly and efficient. The cinema is ideal for younger children as the backs of the chairs are low and the cinema has a steep incline so no heads in front of them. So they can sit in comfort without booster seats. Will definitely me returning

I visited the new Light Cinema in Walsall for the first time today. I went to see the new X Men film and as the showing was before midday my ticket cost just £5 online and without any additional fees for booking online - Brilliant!!

The cinema staff were all very friendly, the cinema was very clean the popcorn prices were very reasonable (cheaper than the local Showcase & Cineworld cinemas and the popcorn tasted better too!). The seating in the cinema is very comfortable with a holder for your drink, a little table and even holders for wine glasses!

I shall definitely return and I'm thinking of signing up for the Infinity card.

"A cinema experience" cry the adverts for this place. Sadly, apart from the ability to take in a glass of wine and have it held by the holders attached to the seats, it's hard to see what differentiates this from a standard Odeon or UCI. It's also very irritating to be forced to buy tickets from the food counter - a method guaranteed to take longer and force unnecessary queues to form.

Tried this cinema out as it is slightly closer to home than The Showcase and new. £5 tickets when booked online which is super cheap compared to most cinemas. Tiered seating so view is not restricted in any seat, lots of leg room and a table/cup holder next to each seat! Definitely using this as our regular cinema and can't recommend it enough to others.

We have been here numerous times since it opened. The staff are really helpful and chatty, we really feel like we have had personal service. The screens are nice and big, comfy seats and the sound system is excellent too. We visited twice in the first week and have now got our 'Infinity' cards which are being well used.
Well worth a visit!

Visited this venue on Friday night with a friend to watch Captain America. It was my first time here so wasn't sure what to expect.

We had pre booked tickets online prior to attending for £5. A bargain I thought for a prime Friday night slot. On arrival collected our tickets from the machine which was very swift and joined the que for confectionary.

The que was as to be expected for a Friday night but moved relatively quickly. We selected an offer for £12, which included a large popcorn, 2 regular drinks and a bag of sweets. Quite good value for money I though considering a regular drink and medium popcorn was on offer for £6.60.

We located our screen upstairs which was accessed via an esculator. The screen although not huge was adequately sized with 10 rows. The chairs were very comfortable and had drink holders and trays to put stuff on which made it easier to share items. Better than local cinemas in the area. An added bonus if desired is that all screens are fully licensed so you can purchase alcohol to drink whilst watching your film.

The screen itself seemed to show a good picture, maybe not quite as sharp as some places but if your not that fussed about picture quality this is definitely a good find.

I would highly recommend this place and hope that in time it doesn't loose it's shine with its plush interiors.

Seen this online and thought ..not too far away and £5 a ticket if bought online for Saturday night, give it a try.

Right across from Crown Wharf , a brand new cinema complex, waterfront bars and restaurants, the cinema itself looks bland on the outside but don't be fooled... It is so welcoming and atmospheric inside, there's a lovely bar and all screens are licenced with wine glass holders by your seat, which is very comfy with extra leg room and , I think, steeper sloping as I never once had a head in my view, which I usually get.

We were in screen 5 which was quite cozy but still felt grand. From what I could tell there are special viewings got kids and oaps. Will be our regular cinema from now on even though we paid £4 in the car park we still saved £16 on 4 tickets so well worth it .

The cinema is cool and clean! Prices are cheap if you book online at £5 per head I think it's the cheapest Cinema in Walsall. The chairs are more comfy than any other cinema i have visited in the area! Screen was very clear as well as the sound! Ten out of Ten!

I was pleasantly surprised by the new Light Cinema in Walsall. Went mid afternoon on a Saturday but there was no problem parking right outside (£2 for 3 hours)

We had pre-booked on the Internet so no waiting for tickets, there was a queue for food and drinks but it moved really quickly as they had about 4 or 5 people serving.

The quality of the seating(lush!) , screen and the sound was all fantastic. I have had some hit and miss visits to other cinemas in the last year (Showcase Walsall & also in Birmingham) but this was spot on.

So in summary, we got a good deal on the tickets, its local, better quality than others in Walsall / Sutton, our new favorite cinema, we will definitely be back

Off we went to the new light cinema in Walsall ... 3 adults and 3 kids. We booked online for a viewing at 3pm on a Sunday afternoon. Getting the tickets and food / drinks was no problem and then you take the escalator upstairs where all the cinema screens are located.

The seating is very nice comfy and upholstered rather than the normal leather look and feel.

Unfortunately our little niece found The Jungle Book scary and we had to leave literally 30 mins into the film. The manager and staff were very accomodating by letting me keep 2 car seats in their office for the remaining adult who would need them for her car journey back home as we had left.

We will definately be returning again. Great service.

We went to watch Batman vs Superman (which was quite disappointing in my opinion). But the cinema interior was very nice indeed. We pre booked our tickets and at £5 each, they were considerably cheaper than the showcase and cineworld cinema's nearby. The screens were very nice too, although a little on the small side. But the seats were by far the most comfiest seats I've sat on in a cinema yet!

As for picture quality, it was lacking slightly in my opinion, with a grainy image throughout the film - although this may be due to the amount of dark scenes in Batman vs Superman.

All in all a very nice cinema - plenty of options of places to eat nearby too. And staff were very helpful and friendly!
Will definitely be making this cinema our new first choice!

Came here on the weekend to watch The Jungle Book.
If tickets are ordered online you can get the tickets cheaper. £5 per person wasn't too bad, I didn't think so anyways.

I came here as my friend recommended it to me. the staff were polite and friendly. When I first entered I thought it was a little small but when we got to our screen I was pleasantly surprised. It was lovely and clean. the seats were very nice and comfy. there was plenty of leg room the seats were also spacious. I also like the fact that they had little trays so you could put your snacks or your phone on it.

Its a lovely cinema and its not badly priced either, its a very nice comfortable place. the only thing is I hope they people don't mess it up.

Other thing to note is you have to pay for parking up until 6 I think. Would be good if they did discounts on people who did visit the cinema but for me its no biggie.

I couldn't wait to try out the new cinema in Walsall, as I've watched it slowly taking shape over the past few months.

We visited a few weeks ago to see Zootropolis and the whole experience was just how a cinema should be, from the fresh popcorn smell in the foyer to the super-comfy seats.

The staff were warm and welcoming and very friendly. I was surprised that we were allowed the option of choosing our seats, which was a personal touch and ensured that we didn't have any hassle finding a space.

The cinema auditorium itself was spacious and clean (the whole building is spotless), with a huge screen offering an immersive visual and sound experience. The seats are deep and generous, with cup holders for your drinks and ample legroom.

Ticket prices are slightly cheaper than the local cinemas and you get a much better experience for your money.

The location is ideal, close to town centre and bus and train routes and a huge variety of restaurants and shops to explore nearby.

The food and drink were also excellent quality. Toilets absolutely gleaming!

We returned last week to watch Jungle Book and again, had a wonderful time.

Congratulations to the staff, from the front of house greeters to the hardworking cleaners, for making this an experience to remember. We will be back.
