Unforgettable experience.

Upon my visit I was greeted by two very handsome bar men named Will and Harry. The beer was as heavenly as they were. The food was fantastic. The service provided by Faith was faultless.

Could not ask for a better restaurant.

Have been here a few times and the food and friendly service is always excellent. Saturday afternoon we were part of a wedding party at the New Masons nearby but we left after being there nearly an hour with no food so went to the Ivy house. It was very quiet but we didn't mind we just wanted feeding. Steak was really good and the home made chips were lovely. We will definitely be back.

Came for 21st Birthday Meal for my lovely sister in law.

Had the minted lamb steaks was very nice.

Not much to offer on the vegetarian front only 1 meal.

Staff are very friendly.

Never been in this lovely pub. It has a proper old world feel and a selection of cask ales and guest beers. The Sunday 3 course lunch sounded good value for £11.95 so we will be trying that another day!

The ivy house was always a favourite of my mothers and fathers and so is it of mine. I could not figure a better way to say how good the Ivy house is so I have made a list:
- Friendly and professional restraint staff
-Great value for money -Unbelievable food
-Welcoming bar staff -Extremely clean and hygienic premises

Whenever I go to visit my mother she insists we eat here, I relented and we went, I am kicking nmyself for not coming sooner, the menu isn't extensive but there is enough choice and it's all homecooked. Large portion sizes and an excellent selection of ales and wine to accompany it. Then the final surprise is the final bill, exceptional value for money, we'll be back and soon too.

We visited for a family Sunday lunch having booked a table in advance online. We were slightly early but after ordering drinks our table was ready. The restaurant area was pleasant enough although we had to slightly move the tables and chairs for comfort and to allow better access to the other tables. There was plenty of room for this to be achieved without issue. The Sunday lunches were a decent size and tasted good and the prices were very reasonable. We also liked the choice of a smaller sized meal if desired. The starters and desserts on offer for an extra couple of pounds each were also very good value. The service was good and the staff friendly. I would certainly have no problem returning here for Sunday lunch again with my family.

We booked a table of 20 of Fathers Day and it was faultless. Considering there was 20 of us we are used to waiting a good hour for our food. However this was not the case. The food came out very quickly, the quality of the meat was fantastic and would highly recommend to anyone.
Thanks again Ivy House x

Went with a friend - we had booked and our table was ready. It was very busy and it had changed quite a lot since our last visit - lots more tables. Waiting staff were good but service was a bit on the slow side. I just had the soup, which was lovely and piping hot. Husband and our friend had steak which they both said was a bit tough. Chips were nice though! We did mention the quality of the steaks but nobody seemed bothered about it. It will be a while before we go there again.

This is a great pub with plenty of seating for a night out to have a drink or a meal with family and friends. They have a great set menu with all the pub classics on there. With plenty of parking to the side and rear of the building.

We arrived at the ivy house after walking out of the malt at landywood, after such poor service, also only selling pizza, the ivy house found us a table and even though food had nearly stopped let us order, it was really the best meal, all had 3 courses and each was lovely, all 8 of us had something different and all enjoyed every bit, the staff was very pleasant and couldn't do enough for us, excellent:)

We visited this venue mid afternoon. There were about 10 others in various rooms of the pub, and we were sat in what appeared to be the dining room with lovely window views over open country. There was a good selection of real ales on sale, as well as the usual lagers, ciders, wines and soft drinks.
There is a lunchtime menu with lighter bites, and the full menu, choices can be made from either. There were not many starters to choose from so we went straight onto the main course. Staff were very pleasent and helpful, and when I ordered my wifes ribeye steak medium rare, I was told that the kitchen advised that it be served medium as it enhance the flavour and texture. When the steak was served it proved the kitchen were correct. It was juicy and tasty, and nothing was left. I had lagsagnie which was obviously home made and full of taste and flavour. Deserts were ordered and enjoyed.
On the whole a very pleasent dining experience. Nothing was rushed and staff were always close at hand without being overpowering. We will definately visit again.
