It's a Tardis. It looks tiny from the outside but is absolutely huge inside. What a unique pub. The menu is predominantly Indian (curries etc.) Everyone seems to order the chicken tikka, we did and it lived up to expectations. See pic. Everything about our visit was perfect. Can't wait to be back!

Got a squash from here charged me £2 that's ridiculous for a squash. The beer was expensive as well won't be going there again.

I had a dine in for the first time at this place. The restaurant has a off street parking. It was a busy place. The place has different curry options both vegetarian and non vegetarian. Although the name says Vine, it's more of an Indian dine in, and not just a bar. The place was busy with lot of people generally an indication of good fresh food. We had some nans, a vegetable biryani some poppadoms, Dal tadka and paneer butter masala. I found the dishes as a typical balti with lots of oil. The paneer butter masala had lot of colour but the taste was satisfactory. Due to COVID impact I felt the portion size for the price was slightly on the higher side. Overall a decent place to have a chatty dinner... This time I didn't take the pictures as I was very hungry when I went to the place. The other important point is you need to go to the counter and place the order with your table number. The delivery will be at the table. So its a "Semi Table" service.

I remember going to the vine when I was a teen (2005-2007). Back then, the vibe was fantastic and the food was unbelievable. I don't know if it's because of COVID, but it just seems to be missing that same charm it once had and feels a bit outdated compared to when we used to go. Apart from they moved the kitchen area to the other side of the room, not much has changed. Wasn't very keen on being served the food on paper plates.

Great curry in a pub style surrounding (desipub) Good choice of drinks and curry's with a tandoori grill good value . I find any excuse to visit as the food is top draw .
Easy to find just off M5 Avoid on match day as it gets very busy .
STILL ONE OF MY FAVOURITE PLACES FOR A CURRY AND A BEER !!
Last went April 2022
Went Saturday April 2023 .. prob been 4 times in last 2 months still A1 ..
Just check home matches
. Best get there just b4 3pm if westbrom playing at home . Parking can be a bit more awkward but should find some where. Slightly reduced menu on match days

Parking: Side parking by pub in fenced area other wise plenty of road parking avoid match day as parking can be a issuev

We are working local and took the opportunity to treat the lads to a chicken tikka wrap. The food was what I expected but the price wasn't.. £8.25 for a chicken wrap is at least £2.75 more than I have paid in any other tikka grill in the oldbury Smethwick area. Yeh I know it's the original tikka grill but that's just too much. Food was fresh and OK but not amazing and portions where as you would get anywhere else. lads left hungry and went to local chippy for a kebab wrap £3.00 and hit the spot. Won't be returning at those prices. Good service and cosy pub never the less.

Having tried this at Christmas with family, which I've reviewed earlier.
Took a couple of mates. Not as good as previous, although the stumbling block was the mixed grill on a bed of lettuce, as opposed to onions.
Never come across this before but have been assured by an Asian friend that this is an occasional variation of the recipe.Ho hum.
Its what it is then...
