Best match day destination going if you fancy some lively chat and a few drinks before and after. The food is also great, but would recommend going on any other day than match day to try it as it gets quite busy.

Old 20th c pub which is run by an enterprising Brit Indian family of Punjabi origin serves great sumptous and juicy well-flavoured kebabs. Curry & gravy items could be better. The flat breads are good though some room for improvement exists. Good pub atmosphere.

I have lived next to this establishment for years, and I have never visited. I did hear many good reviews, but never got time.
My husband and I decided to go in November 2011, and we were pleasantly surprised. The décor appeared different to any other restaurant, it was set in a traditional pub. It had many separate areas to eat. Some of the rooms were very cosy, and the staff were very friendly. The BBQ room is out of place, and not in context to the rest of the pub, with plastic chairs and tables.
Now the food. You have so many options, from BBQ food, tandoori, curry's or even English dishes. The BBQ food is cooked on a traditional Indian BBQ ( Indoor thou I must add ), It has lovely coating on it, and is cooked perfectly. None of the meat is tough, and is perfect with a naan or tandoori roti. As its set in a pub, you get all the usual beers and shorts to accompany.
