One of the best pubs for away matches. Great food, good mix of home and away fans, never any trouble.

A great pre-match pub for West Bromwich Albion matches.

The staff are welcoming to home and away supporters. There's a good range of well kept beers.

What makes this place for me is the food - authentic Indian barbecue - extremely tasty and cheap.

The food, drink and atmosphere here is alright.
They have a modest selection of guest ales and most days have a special curry.

Most of the food seems to arrive at your table minutes after you do, which is great if your hungry but is a bit strange and most of the curries end up being similar.

They also have a good barbecue selection which is on most evenings.

All together reliable and good, but isn't anything exceptional.

I have always enjoyed eating at the vine it is a great place to eat and drink, the food has never been a let down and arrives quickly.. The only thing stopping me from giving the place 5 stars is the attitude of the BBQ chef.. I'm tempted to give 3 stars, I stopped eating the BBQ for about 2 years because of it, just had it again and his atitude stinks just as bad as I remember.. It makes me give him attitude back and puts a downer on the experience, it's not like it's even that hard to grill meat! The man needs to lighten up because it just makes people want to hurt him bad!

Warmly welcomed along with mostly WBA fans as well as visiting fans on a Saturday before the game. Good atmosphere and beer but exceptional food as this is an asian owned and run pub. Very good.

Good choice of drinks, tasty indian and bbq food. Bigger than expected, great for gatherings. You will not expect pub like this in this location. Bit disappointing all concrete garden, could use some greens.

Food is great and reasonably priced. Friendly atmosphere and great meal out whether it's with friends or family. Can be busy as it is a popular location.

We have visited the Vine now on 2 occasions on a Friday evening with a young family & friends.
The offering is a staple of what you would expect from a Desi Pub and is reasonably priced, bill for 4 meals with sides and drinks around the £35 mark, food is served quickly and without fuss.
Decor reminds me of what I would class as a spit and sawdust pub but that just adds to the atmosphere and it is far way from being one.
We take our young family here and it is a safe and family friendly environment with a slightly Bohemian feel at times with friendly patrons and staff. They have a dedicated BBQ area at the rear which we are yet to try but is always busy.
Well worth a visit

Went in on a Friday afternoon for a team Christmas meal, got there at half 12 and place was packed with several tables having large "reserved" signs on...bit strange as when I'd called the week previous to book a table was told that tables are not booked or reserved and it's a first come first served basis.
Anyhow...managed to find space in the rear room and had a table for us all together.
Meals simple to order at bar but remember to keep ya recipt as this is your order number.
Bless the waiting girls as they were covering more miles than marathon runners and having to shout out order numbers bless them.
Right the food...I had a simple lamb bhuna and naan bread, now I've had larger portions but never with so much meat in there, absolutely rammed with tender lamb and a gorgeous sauce to accompany. Proper naan with chunks of garlic not garlic butter spread on the top of a plain naan.
Overall...packed place but what's expected on a Friday lunch at Christmas, cracking atmosphere, food sublime, service spot on, prices reasonable.
Folks you'd be daft not to try it

We've been going to the vine every month for a few years now we love it. Food is fantastic we usually have the BBQ the staff are always friendly ( except the BBQ chef but he'l never change!😂) lots of good drinks served at the bar, the atmosphere is great but I can't understand reviews people expecting waiter service etc it's not a restaurant it's a pub serving Indian food! Please ignore negative reviews if you haven't been before but don't expect 5* service like top restaurants 😉

The vine is an Indian canteen not a restaurant, that said he he food is fantastic. Bar staff are great even if the man at the BBQ can be a bit grumpy! Value for money ! Not where you get dressed up to go , but to relax and eat good food freshly cooked !🤗 love it

Plenty of Street parking. Doesn't look much from the outside but inside is vast with a large covered outside area. Menu is predominantly Indian & very decent food it is too with quite generous potions, Nan's freshly baked on site. Indian menu is slightly reduced on match days. Also do fish/pie/egg & Chips. Staropramen & 2 local real ales on draught. Friendly & efficient staff. To get to the ground follow Albion fans to the path by the tram track (not on Google maps). Take a torch if it is going to be dark. To avoid the after match lock in at the ground ask the stewards for directions to the path (is not difficult we guessed it). Traffic free getaway too.

Small from the outside but a proper Aladdins cave inside - great staff with fabulous chicken tikka from the bbq for a tasty lunch. great pub for both home and away fans

Went for a curry the 2 things in the menu I ordered on the menu were not available. Ordering was a bit obscure - 1 meal in one place another meal in another area. Service a bit canteenish, and some food doubled up and some rice did not arrive at all. The food was OK-ish. 1 peshwari man still doughy inside. Not the best curry I've had so don't know if I would go again.

Came here for the first time. It was very noisy and packed. The fish done on the barbecue was scrumptious the curry wasn't all that nice. Too many onions and peppers, it's like they just roughly chopped them and chucked them in. Beer was nice

The service was really quick and the staff really friendly.inside there are lots of little rooms to sit in if you want some quiet or a larger eatery at the back which offers a good view of the grill.I thoroughly enjoyed it,the food was lovely and hot, really tasty and the portions were huge for the price we paid.
